Be it the great smog of London in the 1950s or the pollution of Beijing more recently, countries like the UK and China worked towards resolving the crisis and made tremendous progress. Rahul Gandhi is right, the Government needs to take all stakeholders into confidence and come up with concrete solutions. The present Indian Government should learn from other countries that solved the problems!

This pollution disaster requires immediate government intervention. A national effort must begin without delay.
