I don’t know what’s more impressive, the harlem globetrotters tricks pulled off or the front flip out call made by the first base umpire. So much going on

This umpire initially called the runner coming home out. The catcher drops the ball and then the umpire rules him safe because of the dropped ball. Then the catcher after a couple of seconds goes and tags the runner and the umpire calls him out. I don’t know what game the umpire is watching but it clearly isn’t this one. And I don’t know where he received his training. After the catcher dropped the ball, if he thought the runner didn’t touch home he should have made no call. But clearly he does. What do you think? Was he safe or out?

I’ve been watching baseball a long time and I’ve never seen a catcher run over the umpire to catch a ball. Good on the umpire for keeping his cool, and call the out while on the ground instead of overreacting to the situation

This is now the third play Kody Clemens has botched at first base today. The Twins opting against rostering a real first baseman is working out wonderfully.

How is this a Flagrant 2 and ejection, she went after the ball. Angel is driving, she leans into her, which means she breaks the plain, Izzy goes after the ball, her right hand is literally on the ball and rips it out. How is this F2 and ejection? Can't even call over the back.

This batter bunts the ball down the first base line. As he is sprinting down the line the first basemen is getting ready to make a play and tag him. The runner dives a bit outside with his had stretched out and tags the side of the double first base for runners. He’s safe. But the umpire said he was outside the base path and called him out. Th What do you think? Was he out of the baseline or not? Safe or out?

Jonathan Kuminga told me the aspect of the no-call that set him off (and led to his first career ejection) was the trip/clip of his right ankle from behind. Same ankle he badly injured last season. Gave him a concerning flashback. Was hurting a bit postgame but said he's fine.

This batter swung at a pitch and missed. The runner from first was stealing and the catcher makes a throw down to second. The catcher made contact with the batter who was still in the batter’s box after swinging and missing. The umpire called batter’s interference, sent the runner back to first and called the batter out. To me, that batter has to be able to finish his swing. He never stepped outside the box. I think it is the wrong call. What do you think? Batter’s interference or not?
