If you want to know if a politician is "America First," you only need to ask them one question: "Do you support the immediate dismantling of the H-1B scam?" If they say no, hesitate, hedge, or start serving you a Kamala Harris–style word salad, *run away.* Never vote for them again. Because it doesn’t matter whether they’re Republican or Democrat—what they support is firing qualified Americans, replacing them with cheap foreign labor, and then forcing those same Americans to train their replacements. That’s wrong. That’s un-American. The goal used to be “Made in America,” but it should must be “Made in America by Americans.” If you’re making in America but importing H-1B workers from India, you’re not Made in America—you’re “Made in America…by foreigners.” Qualified Americans can do everything right, yet Fortune 500 companies will still fire them (or refuse to hire them in the first place) and then import cheap, exploitable H-1Bs and force Americans to train their foreign replacements. You can get market power, you can break rules, you can abuse labor laws, you can pay people less than what they’re worth, but you can’t earn that.” There’s no arbitrary limit that AOC, queen of all people, gets to set across the world. 70% of college grads *are not* working a full-time job in their field of study. Amazon just laid off 30,000 Americans and then hired 10,000 more H-1Bs from India. We have to get honest about our labor market policy, and what I want to see from President Trump is exactly what Governor Ron DeSantis did in my state of Florida: pull the plug on the H-1B program.
