She’s not wrong. Canadians can’t go to other countries for free healthcare.

If true, this is unacceptable. My grandparents, when they arrived in North America, expected nothing nor demanded nothing from the government.

Old stock Canadians are being forced to fund healthcare and education for invaders. Suicidal.

Public services are collapsing, healthcare being the most blatantly obvious one.

She is spot on. No other country allows that, why would Canada do ? Her argument makes fiscal and economic sense.

We each pay, on average, over $9000 annually *just* for health care. Much more than comparable private care in America. If you haven't paid into this collectively funded health care system then you should have to pay directly. How anybody could disagree with this is beyond me.

You know...Healthcare, Education, housing, etc all follow the rules of supply and demand. If we can't increase the supply, we should reduce the demand by removing these people.

So stop giving it to them for free, in fact charge them double and problem is solved.

I have met with HUNDREDS of temporary residents receiving FREE EDUCATION for their kids. FREE.

Most if not all are non binding referendum questions the fed passed Bill C3, and are working on increasing Canada's population to 100 million. vote option 2 if you want to establish a new constitution where the gov is limited not the people. #LETALBERTADECIDE

@EvelynSmit95492 Why does ab govt not require sponsorship to come to Alberta. If so, the sponsors cover these costs, not you and I tax payers.

Her government asked for more immigrants than the feds allotted because her party wants low wage non unionized workers. Section 95 of the charter states that immigration is a shared responsibility between province and feds.

I think she made a mistake putting all the questions on one ballot. People are getting sucked into “no to the 9” in droves.

Canada, New Zealand, Spain, and Sweden are the only countries, AFAIK, pay old age security to people with no work history in the country. Sweden prorates it. Canada should look into prorating it and also curtail it further for people on public sector gold-plated pensions.

More UCP gas lighting. Temporary foreign workers pay taxes. They don’t bring their families so there is no education cost. Foreign students pay more tuition and subsidize Alberta residents.
