Albertans have seen firsthand how our cold climate can impact electricity generation. This week, our government has taken steps to create clearer guideliness for renewable energy generation and certainty for our electrical grid.

So correction for you, it wasn’t the cold. It was two gas power plants going offline. Nice try.

Liar Smith wants to pretend the problem was renewables. She's just one cesspit of dishonesty.

Having reliable power is THEE top priority. Renewable energy has to come in second. The governement has the correct priorities here.

How about you adopt the AESO recommendations made years ago for a Capacity Based energy market then? You scrapped the plan they spend years developing to address grid stability. You can’t have it both ways.

Result of these policies is 22 cancelled projects and an additional ~30 at risk. Thats about $15B that will be invested elsewhere, create employment elsewhere (& we have the highest unemployment east of the maritimes) That’s some expensive ideology you have #ableg #abpoli

"Albertans have seen firsthand how" government lies can impact their lives (and deaths). "This week, our government has taken steps to create" even more lies and data manipulation... @ABDanielleSmith

Danielle! You’ve thrown up roadblocks to electrical production from clean sources, preferred instead to support the fossil fuel industry! We all see you!

"Electricity from renewable sources... is bad for our electrical grid" - you How, exactly?

Power plants shouldn't be allowed to shutdown for maintenance during the cold or hot months. Oddly this seems to be happening all to often.

You are making it harder for renewables investment. It’s intentional.
