Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is upbeat after another meeting Mark Carney as the Liberals announced they are looking to make changes to expedite processes for big projects. "I know industry is getting a bit impatient, Albertans are getting a little bit impatient. And if we're going to to move forward with that MOU, I hope it happens in the the next number of days because I I think in Alberta there does need to be a demonstration that Canada can work. And I think that we've demonstrated a couple of things over the last number of months that we can work well together. We've changed course on a number of things and Alberta wants to continue to build major projects in partnership with Canada." Industry is getting impatient because of the unnecessary costs and red tape they face while there is nothing but lip service. The central part of the MOU is Alberta agreeing to all of Mark Carney's green agenda items as permission to do business and build projects. How is this going to change?

No pipeline project will been agreed upon until at least September 2027 & that doesn't include the BC First Nations & the BC NDP agreeing. How can a pipeline get private investors when yesterday Mark Carney said oil and gas will be phased out in Canada? Carney also said any oil and gas not phased out will be forced to pay a substantially increased carbon offset fee. Danielle Smith has sold out Alberta.

Premiers have confidence in Mark Carney and that his trade deals will put us in a position of strength negotiating with America. Praised by Alberta Premier Danielle Smith: "Americans have perceived us as being weak. I mean, you hear it. They think that our economy will collapse if we don't come to a, to an agreement. The Prime Minister has spent the, the last year or, and a bit doing, is setting up new trade negotiations, new trade partnerships. He's got 20 additional trade relationships that represent a market of 3 billion people. And every time I meet with a new ambassador, they know who Canada is, they know what we have to offer, and they know, especially whether it's energy or critical minerals, or or food products, they know those are the kind of products they want. So, that goes into a negotiation from a position of strength." The thing is that they are mostly MOUs and it will take us another 10 years to build new export capacities if we start building today which we are not, while adding new red tape. Canada will need to add another $1T in debt by then to sustain and build things with no way to pay for it.
