minghao 🥹 🐻‍❄️ and i think it’s amazing that when you were asked what your dream was as a kid you could answer right away that you wanted to be a star 🎱 back then, i really did want to be a star 🐻‍❄️ exactly 🎱 but i think the reason i wanted to be a star wasn’t even for myself, it was for my mom because everything i learned was all because i wanted to see her smile. i wanted to show it to my mom. so honestly, even after debuting as seventeen i cared a lot about what others thought because of the environment i grew up in, it’s less like that now. that’s why i want to do more of what i actually want now.

I got invited to do acting as an extra so I would be taken out of school for a bit to film, only to appear in the show for 1 second. But for my friends in Ansan, that was already amazing. People started saying 'Oh it's a celebrity', 'a celebrity passed by'. It was really just a bit role. After that, when I became a trainee at SM, I became a bit more popular."

So I just picked up my car and will be using FSD 13.2.8 for the first time. I figured it was as good of a time as any to actually track how many KMs before I had what I considered to be a critical disengagement. I would count this as something that had I not intervened it was more likely than not that I would have gotten into an accident. Top Tip Tom Told me that I should expect to go around 10,000 Miles (16,093KM) before such an event would take place. I didn't quite make it that far.

🦊 i finished wrapping up first my solo recently and as words from people around me started influencing me, it really stressed me out and it really started swaying my identity as a person…i was really burnt out for 3 months 🦊 i used to be someone that told people everything when i was going through a hard time like “i’m going through a tough time right now” but i don’t know when it started, but i couldn’t get myself to tell people around me anymore 👤 i wonder why? was it out of consideration for them? 🦊 that could be why…and i also felt like i needed to learn how to overcome things myself 🦊 i didn’t say anything to anyone and was going through it myself…then i thought about namjoon hyung so i went to him and asked him a lot of questions and one of the things he said to me was that he hopes i face the things that make me uncomfortable 🦊 i had conflicts with soobin and we had awkward phases but i wanted to erase all of these things one by one and i feel like there were also a lot of things that i had been misunderstanding, coming to think of it now…so i went up to soobin first and said “hey, let’s go get a drink”

In 2017, I knew I was stuck in fawn. It was part of my overall pattern of dissociation. I would zone out and appease everyone around me. My needs didn’t matter. All I cared about was making sure I didn’t create any conflict around me. I just wanted things to be “easy.” Of course fawning actually makes life much more difficult. For me, it was a response to a chronically ill and emotionally distant mother. I learned to be easy to not cause any more stress or conflict in the home. It helped me to cope growing up. But as I got older, it became destructive. It was a core reason I stayed in unhealthy or dysfunctional relationships. It stopped me from seeing that my own inability to emotionally connect was creating a lot of my issues. It kept me in cycles where I would neglect my body and use any situation to distract myself. Getting out of fawn was about establishing pattern breaks. New routines every morning to I could be more in my body. I actually looked at my relationships and realized how I didn’t have any boundaries. So, I started practicing. I started saying “no.” I started placing limits. Without needing to over-explain or to justify myself. It was some of the most difficult work I’ve ever done. And it changed my life. I still have a deep pleasing tendency. But now I know what is and what isn’t my responsibility. I can be kind to myself when I feel guilty for letting people down. I can take care of myself which allows me to actually be there for others. Does anyone else resonate with being stuck in fawn?
