"Remember here that Algoma Steel received half a billion dollars, $500 million in government loans to try and protect jobs in the face of these U.S. tariffs." "They knew that there this possibility of hundreds of job cuts coming because of some of these operational changes that they were making, switching over to an electric arc furnace."
