UPDATE on the episode from earlier today. A VERY strange coincidence in timing... I taped this show this morning, and by the time I uploaded it to social media this afternoon, the NDP was concurrently announcing to media they are changing the way they deal drugs to BC'ers. Their new announcement was that now addicts have to do their BC "safe supply" drugs in front of someone...they can't take the gov supplied drugs home as a stockpile anymore. I have spoken to numerous people from the community, and they feel I should STILL LEAVE THIS EPISODE AND ACTION UP as our taxes are still funding government drug dealing ,and that drug diversion is complicated and can still happen through other routes. This is a developing story how the NDP is going to roll this out in a way that realistically stops trafficking of the government supply. The tax payer funded additional man power (staff, pharmacists, doctors, or nurses?) needed for every addict to have a witness every time they consume their "safe supply" seems completely unrealistic.

What bizarre timing! I see you still felt it necessary to send the email and you knew before me. Any thoughts?? Other people I spoke to told me to leave it up as "diversion is complicated" and the NDP's announcement is unrealistic. A witness for every addict, every time they consume?
