The “freeze response” explained concisely. He didn’t fight back in a kitchen full of knives, does that mean he must’ve known this could happen? Why didn’t he scream for help? Nowhere in this scene did the lawyer say ‘please don’t stab me’ does that mean he wanted to be stabbed?

I may have watched that anyway, but I am having a hard time having done so without a trigger warning. I mean, I agree with you, but could you put a warning next time so we can brace ourselves.
