psyonix was in the studio like "hey what if we make this game have an astronimically high skill ceiling with really janky mechanics too" literally could have just made fortnite mario cart or something with more mass appeal

Brother doing all that in a lobby with like 3 people one of which was born 3 weeks ago and the other is just getting XP.

Unironically why they should’ve just kept RL physics/controls, pretty baffling they just never fixed the jank ass movement of RR either cuz its a very undeserved skill ceiling compared to rocket league (mechanics vs knowing how to exploit the physics)
