🚨Osman Hadi’s alleged killer Faisal Karim Masud issue third video statement The following statement through was made by Faisal Karim Masud, who has been named as the prime accused in the murder of Osman Hadi. In the video, Masud claims that he is currently residing in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He also provides details regarding how he was introduced to Osman Hadi through Kawsar Mollah, whom he identifies as an activist of Jamaat. Translated statement: "Many people did not believe what I said, so I have come again to clarify things. I am currently in Sharjah, Dubai. I was helped to come to Dubai and reach Sharjah by Kawsar Mollah and his father Yasin Mollah. This same Kawsar Mollah introduced me to Osman Hadi, and he fully assisted me in coming to Dubai. Along with him were Riyaz Bepary and a police officer, ASI Tushar, who also helped me come to Dubai. I once again appeal to the police administration to interrogate these individuals, as I have doubts about them for various reasons. Why did I leave the country? At present, the country is witnessing an era of mob violence. Had I stayed; mobs would have lynched me. I am not involved in the murder of Osman Hadi; I left the country out of fear of mob violence. Many people have raised questions regarding my bank statements. I have been engaged in business since 2010 and have regularly paid taxes. In 2022, I paid 2.1 million taka in taxes; in 2023, 6.6 million taka; and in 2025, 900,000 taka. I went to Osman Hadi seeking employment, and you turned me into a murderer. Am I insane? Am I a fool? Would I commit murder, return home, and then take a safe exit? I have been framed". MY INPUT: From the Day-1, I have been consistently stating, Pakistani spy agency Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) has plotted and executed the murder of Osman Hadi with the nefarious agenda of destabilizing Bangladesh which can create an atmosphere for delaying the February 12 elections to an indefinite period. The entire plot of chalked-out from “Dhaka Cell” of Pakistani ISI. Following the murder of Osman Hadi, Pakistani ISI began spreading bogus propaganda stating Hadi's "killers" have fled to India. Later it was even claimed that the "killers" were in "Garo Hills" in Meghalaya and one TikTok fun video was shared on social media stating people in the video were killers of Osman Hadi. I would once again firmly say - Pakistani ISI used its own professional killers in murdering Osman Hadi and later by capitalizing this incident, ISI had used some of its paid agents in spreading anti-India hatred on social media and call of attacking offices of Daily Star, Prothom Alo as well as Udichi and Chhayanaut. Osman Hadi worked as a teacher at a private university. He was preparing for the GRE and was planning to go abroad. During the period of fascism, people of Bangladesh felt like suppressed in their own country. Then July came, and Osman Hadi joined the July movement with his pregnant wife. By the end of July, political parties began to calculate their shares, and mass people returned home. But Osman Hadi stayed behind. Leaving his pregnant wife at home, he traveled from city to city and port to port, building the Inqilab Manch later Inqilab Cultural Centre Osman Hadi dreamed of a cultural revolution to awaken the Bengali Muslim cultural identity from Indian hegemony. During this time, Brother Hadi’s beautiful child was born. Even looking at his innocent child, Brother Hadi did not return home. He took upon his shoulders all the burdens of society and all of our responsibilities. He dreamed of building a Bangladesh based on justice and fairness. In this anti-domination march, Brother Hadi raised the very first flag with his own hands. Finally, Brother Hadi left us. How will Bangladesh bear the weight of such a heavy coffin? Brother Hadi, you have left us indebted to you. Your struggle was for us, for our unborn future, for our children. Brother Hadi, perhaps you did not even hold your ten-month-old child in your arms for ten hours. Brother Hadi’s struggle was for all of them -- for those who are countless, like ants on the soil, like fish in the sea, like birds in the sky; for the timid and the brave, for the illiterate and the educated, for those as innocent as children, for those who destroy, and for those who create.

I would request you - especially the Indian civil society, journalists, policy makers and officials; to listen to this random individual's statement. He openly wishes to find journalists associated with The Daily Star and Prothom Alo in order to cause them harm. He's saying this on the record, in front of a crowd of hundreds. Do you see anyone reacting to it negatively? A very specific group has systematically established this narrative that these newspapers serve the purpose of India, and the BJP government's blind support for the deposed Bangladesh Awami League has helped them cement it. The Awami League's rampant corruption, endless human rights abuses, and sham elections and hundreds of border killings at Bangladesh border were all visibly endorsed by Narendra Modi government without any "ifs" or "buts." Additionally, mistreatments of Muslim community in India, one-sided contracts that serve only Indian interests, along with Delhi's regular interference in Bangladesh's security and foreign policy, have made things worse. It is in the interest of both countries to have a working relationship. But, it is India that must take the first step: return the fugitive Awami League leaders to Bangladesh, and detain and hand over the murderers of Osman Hadi — demonstrate that you care. Let the murderers and corrupt face the law. Only then might the people of Bangladesh consider de-escalating this situation. India needs to correct what it has done all these years. A generation of Bangladeshis has grown up knowing Indian authorities legitimized an authoritarian regime in their country. 🎥 bdnews24.com
