That may be what makes a dog’s loyalty so remarkable. They don’t protect us because they expect something in return. They don’t wait to be praised. Their reaction comes from attachment — from knowing that the people around them are part of their world. What looks like a simple instinct can become the difference between a close call and a tragedy. And perhaps that is why these moments stay with us. Thank you to everyone who attended the briefings from the Ukrainian delegation. There were meetings — in Congress, with U.S. Administration officials, journalists, and NGO representatives. We see understanding and support. We do count on strong steps. That’s what’s in short supply right now. And this is what can make even the sleazebags in Moscow realize they can’t pull the war off. This is why we need new and sufficient sanctions, first and foremost from the United States. This is why we need clear political pressure for diplomacy to be effective. There’s not a single peace initiative in the world that Russia hasn’t rejected. They dislike everything. They only like ruins and murders. They must be held accountable for this. I am actually disgusted by this. I’ve had so many teachers that changed my life and put me in the right path, without them I don’t want to think about where I would be. These teachers are sharing how much money they have in their accounts on the par day. In a society where our teachers are guiding the minds of the future, the people who will be helping us when we are later in life. I don’t think they are appreciated enough nor is the compensation package up to par. It perplexes me how they they have to spend a crazy amount of money for their education, only to struggle to get by with a smile while still being generous enough to pay for the items our children need without being reimbursed for much of it. I think it’s time we create a change, I don’t think it’s fair we expect so much of them and they give so much to us only to relieve so little. I know people are going to argue with me and say well they chose to do it so if they aren’t happy with the pay, they can get another job. While that’s true, we would be in bad shape however if they ever chose to do that. Who would be teaching our kids and preparing them for the future. I think we focus too much on things that aren’t and shouldn’t be our priority while neglecting and overlooking a major issue right below our noses. Their jobs are important and our kids would fail without them so why are we treating them like they aren’t important? It’s because it’s easy for us to think of them as our babysitters for half the day. We treat them like Nannie’s who only watch our kids while we go to work and do things we enjoy. Maybe it’s time we revisit our roles in helping them achieve our goals.
