Thanks to our partners for making this happen! @prenuvo - Go to  receive $300 off a Prenuvo whole-body scan at a U.S. or international clinic.

Is this a story about Chamath's health or an infomercial for Prenuvo?

Ronald P. Karlsberg MD FACP FAHA FACC MSCCT | @RonKarlsbergMD Chamath, thank you for being open about the importance of preventive health care. A coronary CTA that shows a very low chance of a heart event over the next 5–10 years is one of the strongest predictors we have in medicine today. It demonstrates how powerful early detection can be. Treatment can then be directed at the soft, non-calcified plaque that actually causes heart attacks — plaque that can now be detected early, measured precisely, and followed over time with therapy that targets the disease itself rather than surrogate markers. These stories help save lives. Coronary CTA can identify arteries that are close to closing even when someone feels completely fine, including in people with little or no calcium on traditional scoring. When disease is found, we can provide truly personalized treatment. Most heart attacks come without warning. When people understand what early imaging can uncover — and how treatment can change the outcome — they gain a clear path to avoid a major or even fatal event. This isn’t about one person. It’s a reminder that preventive imaging and evidence-based care can change the entire course of heart disease. This is the pathway to preventing catastrophic events and addressing the disease at its source. If you’d like to follow ongoing research and updates in this area, I share them at @RonKarlsbergMD #PreventiveCardiology #EarlyDetection #HeartHealth #CardiacImaging #HeartAttackPrevention @Cleerlyhealth @RobertKennedyJr @Heart_SCCT @sriramk @RonBlankstein @ToddVillinesMD @DLBHATTMD

Folks beware of prenuvo! They misdiagnosed me and I had to get a follow up better MRI which showed a better look at the scan.

I’m curious how something like this could be more accessible to someone with less means like sub $2M net worth

Hey @chamath , do more squats bro. And stiff legged deadlift. That's the only 2 leg exercise you need. And stop running like a maniac. You have a fast metabolism and you'll lose muscles like crazy.

awesome! should not be underestimated the impact CP and the pod has had on health of its audience. Personally been inspired a number of times on weight, diet, exercise, preventative approaches and seeking honest dialogue on one's health. Thank you Chamath!

Clearly skipping leg day must be part of the formula.

Long time listener to the pod. This set of clips felt weird. The ad shilling wasn’t subtle. The cut to 8090 was weird and didn’t have any payload. The overall message depending on your affordability of such services in America would be offensive to some, the personal journey comes off as narcissism but the underlying message is sound. Maybe I’m over thinking it

Could you please put me in touch with Chamath or David Sacks? I've been trying to make contact for almost two years. I believe x has the power to get me in touch with them.

@chamath, I happened to be at the resort when your friend passed away and was there as they worked to try and save him. I just wanted to say I’m sorry for your loss.

Great job @chamath! The only thing I would add is a continuous glucose monitor and to eat in whatever way that keeps your glucose as flat as possible. Transient hyperglycemia (only caught with a CGM) damages blood vessels, and you have the genetics to be sensitive to carb intake.
