Almost every punch should involve a small step. The only real exception is when you're using your lead hand to throw a shot directly in front of you at close range—like when your opponent is trapped on the ropes or tied up in a clinch and can’t retreat. The... "how" of stepping is beyond the scope of this caption, but the "why" isn't. You step to generate momentum for your punch and to stay balanced whether you land the shot or miss. Steps also let you adjust to the flow of the fight. Your opponent won’t stand still—you have to punch while moving. But it’s important these are small, controlled steps. Large steps break your stance, compromise your balance, and leave you vulnerable. Plus, when you take large steps, your feet spend more time off the ground, which reduces your ability to transfer force through your legs and hips into the punch. From a physics perspective, small steps help you apply force efficiently. Remember: force equals the change in momentum divided by the time over which that change happens (that’s the impulse-momentum relationship: F = Δp / Δt). The faster you can apply that force (meaning the smaller the Δt), the greater the force you generate. Even fractions of a second matter—double the time it takes to apply your punch’s momentum, and you cut the force dramatically. Feeling the force - so much helpful to control the robot, that done well it allows you to do tasks even without visual feed. You can make an experiment: close your eyes - you can easily get the headphones out of the case. Also, visual information is often not enough. For example, you're trying to pull out a usb connector, but you pull it at the wrong angle, causing it to get stuck. Visually, nothing changes, but the pressure is intense and you can break the connector. Surgical robots have been using force feedback for years, and there are also 3D styluses which use this feature, proving that the technology works and is useful. But in modern robots with AI, it's hardly ever implemented. Although it's useful for both teleoperation and AI model. That's one of the reasons why we are building our robotic arms starting with off the shelf motors rather than taking the whole off the shelf arm. There are still a range of easy wins that can be made iterating robot hardware.

Let’s be clear: size doesn’t matter, your approach and the way you speak do. You can’t walk up to someone and say, “Look at this small boy” then turn around and claim people are projecting onto you. Training glutes still doesn’t get the love it should from men. Aesthetically, sure, your focus will be more on the V taper frame, or strong arms. But as the largest and strongest muscle in the body, the glutes have the potential to really boost your transformation to a top 1% physique. It’s the same concept as investing money into the market or a cash flowing real estate deal. You put in the capital… And then the asset pays you for your ownership. When you have strong glutes, you now have the biggest muscle in the human body paying you metabolic “dividends” around the clock. Burning more calories just by existing. As a result, you get leaner while having MORE wiggle room diet wise. Which makes your hormones improve, and all of the sudden you have this flywheel of positive change. It’s a compounding effect. It's not that you don't want to rotate the hips. There is rotation, but you have to be able to quickly decelerate that rotation and then transfer the momentum to your core for rotation. You want to stabilize the hips so your core can swing and make full use of concentration and ecentric strength. But the core can't be tense until the moment you strike. Otherwise, energy is lost. Or, to put it in physics terms, you want to maximize impulse by decreasing the time the force is applied to stop the momentum of your rotation. In my hiatus, I had figured that part out. That punching is effectively the same motion and muscle recruitment pattern as a golf swing, baseball swing, quarterback pass, or even bowling. What had always troubled me was understanding how to synchronize my feet with these movements. That's where Tom Yankello Boxing and his brilliant training comes into play. My development had always been limited by not understanding the mechanics of a rotational movement across the traverse plane of motion. Once I got that, I figured it out, I could way more easily absorb and understand boxing. I can actually learn how to fight.

STOP KILLING YOUR GEARBOX 😡😡😡🤬 (Correct sequence to park an automatic car ) You’ve been parking your automatic car the wrong way for years, and it is slowly destroying your transmission. Most people just pull into a spot, slam the gear into P (Park), and then pull the handbrake. If you’re doing this, you are literally asking your gearbox to hold the entire weight of your car. Here is the Right way to do it in 5 steps: 1. Come to a full stop with your foot on the brake. 2. Shift the gear to N (Neutral). 3. Pull your Handbrake (or engage the electronic parking brake) with your foot still on the foot brake 4. Engage Parking Gear 5. Remove Your Foot from the Brakes. Why should you do this? Inside your transmission, there’s a tiny metal pin called a Parking Pawl. When you put the car in Park (P) without using the handbrake first, that tiny pin is the only thing stopping your car from rolling away. If you are parked on a hill or a slope, the stress on that pin is massive. Have you ever noticed that loud, painful CLUNK sound when you try to shift out of Park on a hill or slope? That’s the sound of your transmission screaming. You are literally forcing the gears to grind against that pinned-up weight. Over time, you’re rounding off the edges of that metal pin or, worse, snapping it. The handbrake was designed to hold the weight of the car onto the chassis frame. The transmission was designed to shift gears. Stop making the gearbox do the heavy lifting. Except of course you want to replace it regularly (that's not cheap). You're welcome 🤝🏾 .

You’re on a journey on this kind of lonely road with your car and your car suddenly develops a fault, You can’t call for help and your lines can’t be reached due to network issues, what do you do? Except the car will stop and the engine won’t come up again, please reduce your speed and accelerate softly till you get to a nearby town, if it is an overheating issue, keep driving, put the gear in the neutral position and switch off the engine and let the car keep moving, switch it back on when you have to ascend a hilly road and the car can’t move freely on its own again. If the battery signal comes up while driving, chances are that your alternator has failed, or the alternator belt is damaged, apply the same method and switch off your AC, radio system or anything that may drain the battery while driving till you get to a safe place. If it is a flat tyre, maintain a low speed till you get to a safe place to change and use your spare, keep moving. Yes!!! Damage that tyre till you get to a safe place, just keep moving and make sure you have a spare tyre always and it is in a good condition. If the engine suddenly goes off on top speed, chances are that a fuse is damaged and this is why I will make a thread on how to identify different fuses and how to have them fixed temporarily in case of Emergencies. If your car jerks or experiences a lazy movement while driving, it’s likely to be a fuel related issue, fuel pump most likely, switch off the engine intermittently and put the gear in Neutral position, keep moving… if the fuel pump rests for about 5mins, it’ll pick up back when you ignite the engine, this will/may at least take you to a safe place or where you can have access to network to make calls. If you hear strange sounds like knocking sounds or the oil signal starts to blink, relax and reduce your speed, keep moving. Manage it till you get to a safe place or can have access to network. If your gear/transmission system isn’t selecting well, apply the same method, reduce your speed but keep moving, slow movement is better than no movement, your life and safety matters a lot. Please note that there are some Mechanical issues that nothing can solve on the road except patience and just to pray to God for safety and help, for example, you run into a pothole unknowingly and the oil pan hits the road and your engine or gear oil leaks away, or your ball joint or tie rod head pulls out, I’ll suggest you leave the car there, roll up your windows and lock up the car and start trekking till you get network or help, staying with the car may make you vulnerable to attacks or attract unexpected company, just keep walking away from the car for safety. Most importantly, please stay safe and be conscious of your environment. Be friendly with your Mechanic too or any Mechanic you see on the road. Don’t manage faults in cars and risk traveling with it.

Ever since you’ve moved into this neighborhood, the neighbor across the street seems to have a real issue with you. This winter every time you shovel your driveway, you come back later and you hear mountains of snow everywhere. You check your camera and you see that she intentionally pushes her snow across the street and dumps it into your yard and driveway. Not sure what the problem is nor do you really want to find out, would you let this slide or is it time to return the favor with your new snowblower?
