🇹🇷🇦🇺 Türkiye vs Australia Analysis World Cup 2026 Australia played with a back five, but defensively it basically turned into a back nine. They only parked the bus and waited for counterattacks, and the Australians converted both of their counters. Within their own capabilities, they did well, and Türkiye deserved to lose, even if it wasn’t pretty and the referee made some strange decisions. The problem, as you can see in the video, is that Türkiye held onto the ball for too long. We have always struggled against teams that sit deep. See Kosovo, see Romania - only 1-0 each time. The ball should have been moved around more, and our defensive cover should have been positioned further back. Our centre-backs were standing too high up the pitch, they are too slow for counterattacks, and they should have been told that. Instead of attacking the box more through the wings, our wingers and full-backs - until later on, apart from Kenan Yıldız - kept attacking the byline and trying to cross to a 1.73m Kerem Aktürkoğlu, who was surrounded by 5+ defenders around 1.90m tall. Future of all interfaces on a two wheeler - voice! We have been excited about it for a long time. Ather pretty much invented the concept of touch screens on 2Ws (being the first to do that on a production bike) and we continue to invest heavily into capabilities and feature sets on it. But even as we push the envelope on that front (almost half of our vehicles today ship with a touch TFT and 100% ship with on-board compute and connectivity) we believe the future could very well be one that does not need you to glance at the display at all. Using LLMs and natural language processing and bundling that inside our smart helmets (Halo) we believe that being able to ‘just tell’ your scooter what you want can be super intuitive. In fact far more intuitive than stationary applications like mobile phones, laptops etc. On a scooter you can’t operate touch while riding and we would rather have you glance as little as possible when in heavy traffic or at high speeds. Athletico Madrid v Spurs Well, here I am again in Madrid. It’s my 4th time & I’ve not seen us win yet 🤦🏻‍♂️ We all know what happened at the Metropolitano stadium the last time, so I’m hoping for better luck this time. Tudor needs to get this team Performing tonight or he could well be toast soon. I don’t think we will get a result like the last encounter in 1963 when we won 5-1 in the European Cup final. Make no mistake, Simeone’s team is hard to beat at home with an 80% win rate. Atleti are strong, but not vintage, but still, that home advantage is huge. I expect intensity from both teams,plenty of cards, and maybe goals both ways. Their attack is so frightening, which might explain why they’ve scored 24 goals already in the UCL. It’s a big concern when we’ve conceded 2 goals a game for our last 9 games, a club record. Sorloth is a big 6ft 5 Btec Haarland threat, as is the class of Alvarez, and you just know Lookman is going to score against us. They are, however, not as strong defensively as they used to be, so I’m hoping somehow we can exploit that. Despite our lack of goals, we just need to be able to take back something to the Lane next week. With the chance to play a back 3 with Cuti, MVDV, and Danso for the first time that I can remember with Porto and Spence, I’m more hopeful. I’m going to go for a 2-2 draw, delusional probably, but without hope, there’s no point coming here to support the team. Had so much fun chatting with Greg Kaplan (Greg Kaplan) and Michael Brennan of e61 Institute about Australia's stagnant productivity growth and how to fix it. Thought for today…. I would like to thank Alexander Isak for his behaviour and forcing to leave Newcastle. I would also like to thank Liverpool for the duplicitous way they unsettled him. Why FFS you may ask? Hear me out… 1. The bloke is not a team player as he showed last season with his performances at the start and end of last season and we only want fully committed players at our club. 2. At some point due to the corrupt PSR rules we were going to have to sell a big player to enable us to move to the next level. It might as well be one with the lack of character and morality that he has shown. 3. Isak and Liverpool have handed us a massive windfall that has the potential to transform the club over the next few seasons. Without this we would not be able to move forward as quickly and we would all be waiting for the axe to fall on another star player. That is less likely now. 4. We now, potentially,have the strongest squad in my living memory (with the possible exception of Keegan’s Entertainers but who knows they may surpass even them) 5. The new CEO and Sporting Director (both of whom are top class if reports are correct) will be walking into a club that is united from top to bottom and in a very strong financial position. A club that has qualified for the Champions League in two of the last 3 season and won its first domestic trophy in 70 years. A club that is clearly on the up. 6. PIF will hopefully have learned lessons from what happened this summer and even though it was a little late they acted in the last few weeks and made sure the end to they transfer window could be deemed a big success despite the circumstances (next up get the CEO and Sporting Director in and announce a new stadium) 7. Eddie Howe, Andy Howe, Jamie Reuben and Steve Nickson have cemented their reputations. In particular Eddie’s handling of the whole Isak affair has been a masterclass in diplomacy, hard work, and man management - we truly have an absolute gem and a gentleman leading the team. 8. In summary we have a club that is united from top to bottom, in a healthy financial position, a much stronger squad with players committed to the club, new top class senior personnel to be added very shortly, a second Champions League season to look forward to and hopefully more silverware. Further to our earlier and full update below from January 9th of this year, we now now move a step closer to the opportunity to fully hold the Liberal government, and Justin Trudeau, to account in court. Their divisive, cruel and unscientific overreach in imposing a nearly 9 months ban on unvaccinated Canadians and Permanent Residents from travelling on planes, trains and ships caused hardship and damage to millions of people in Canada. The hard work of our talented young lawyer, Sam Presvelos, paid off in June 2022 when evidence emerging in discovery in those earlier stages of the case caused then Attorney General David Lametti to reconsider the government’s position and the ‘vaccine mandate for travel’ was suspended with the implicit threat being made that they would do it again if they wanted to do so. In a moment of respite those millions of people, denied their fundamental Section 6 rights for nearly 9 months, could once again travel to see their loved ones and family events; to work; and to take much needed vacation time. This appeal, which will be heard at the Federal Court of Appeal in Toronto on November 3rd at 1pm Eastern Time, will consider whether Justice Kent Horne erred when he allowed the government’s motion to strike out two parts of our claim – those parts in relation to s.7 and s.12 of the Charter. Justice Horne allowed those parts in relation to s6 and s15 to go ahead to trial pending the outcome of this appeal and any further appeals that may follow. s.7 (life, liberty, security) deals with crucial rights that permit us all to decide for ourselves what happens to our body. We believe that the choice to accept a vaccine or not should be free of any sort of coercion or detrimental consequences imposed by any authority. They do not accept that the bar to their success in relation to s.7 is so high as to have no reasonable prospect of success and that their arguments should be allowed to proceed to trial. s.12 (cruel/unusual punishment) is normally heard in relation to the cruel and unusual punishment of people in the criminal justice system in relation to penal sanctions. We believe that then Prime Minister Trudeau developed the vaccine mandate as a deliberately cruel and unusual punishment for those Canadians who were exercising their s7 right to refuse the Covid-19 vaccines and, at the same time to use that punishment very publicly as a political campaign promise and ‘wedge issue’ in the 2021 General Election. The appeal will not be easy, but our case is in great hands with Sam Presvelos, the young litigator who achieved so much for millions of people in Canada who were, until June 2022, denied the right to even leave their country! If we succeed the government may then try to further appeal the decision to the Supreme Court of Canada. It is very apparent that they do not want this case to be heard and particularly, perhaps, the s.7 arguments. If we are unsuccessful at this stage, they may take their arguments to the Supreme Court.
