Yunjin talks about her favourite quote “Have enough courage to trust love one more time and always one more time” — Maya Angelou I've actually met a lot of like the most important people in my life right now, one of the biggest lessons that they've taught me is that you should always give people a second chance, because people are capable of change. And if you nurture them and give them the right environment to flourish, then they can really become anything. And I think that's a very important thing to realize the more that you get older, because it's really easy to limit yourself and limit others and be like, oh no, that's just the way they are. They will never change and, you know, I shouldn't even try to get them to change because that's just how they are and they're gonna stay like that forever. Because that, I feel like kind of makes it really easy for you to get really apathetic and not really care about things that maybe we should be caring about, like helping each other grow as people and, you know, trusting humanity.

If you try to challenge the power of women, it seems like that is almost as much of a forbidden subject as talking about Jews. "Jews are running society, women need to STFU, and blacks need to be imprisoned for the most part. It's really that simple."

RFK JR: We want to do a number of things but not take away choice from people. The one place that I would say that we really need to change policies is food stamps and school lunches. We shouldn't be subsidizing people to eat poison.

🚨 CURRY: "The media is trying to say 'We need a Joe Rogan on the left.' You basically had one but you were so crazy that Joe started to think right." ROGAN: "They didn't want me. That's the psyop working against them. In the past they could take someone like me and demonize them and it would be effective and they could just remove you from the airwaves because you didn't play by the rules. Now people say that I'm telling the truth and then they'll stop listening to CNN and faith in them crashes and faith in mainstream media crashes and faith in podcasts rises." CURRY: "They'll probably try to hype someone up to be the Joe Rogan of the left. ROGAN: "They already are." CURRY: "Who do you think it is?" ROGAN: "Who cares. Let them try. It won't work. They don't have authenticity. When you listen to someone long enough you see if they're real. I don't lie. A lot of these people are propagandists. They try to make arguments without looking at the other side. I always try to look at the other side. It's an important quality for a person broadcasting to millions of people and also for a human being."

Trump: We have a very good day today. They don't like to say that—the Iranians. They always like to say we didn't discuss that. People had found out that's not true. …if the strait opens up and it's partially opened anyway and as you know we control the strait.. oil will go down to $2.50 a gallon.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau: "It's really really important that Canadians knows that they are free to express themselves, free to protest, to make sure that they are highlighting things they believe in or things that they are concerned about. That is a right that Canadians need to always see defended and this government always will."

Reiner: It looks like they once again test Trump with the cognitive test. That's really not that useful when you take it over and over and over again, because the questions don't really change that much. It begins with sort of connect the dots. They ask you to draw a clock at a certain time. They ask you to sketch a cube, to copy a cube. They show you three animals. They ask you to count backwards from 100 by seven. And then, you know, the test ends essentially with asking you to name the date… So it's not a difficult test It shouldn't be hard to get through it anyway because it's a dementia screening test, not an IQ test.

Watters: Here's the problem with guys, they take women too seriously. You don't really listen to these women. They will say things. Just goes in one ear and out the other. We are toxic? Here is a drink, babe. That's done. They love that. They are beautiful little creatures. We just have to adore them and shower them with love and attention. That is really all they want.

Derrick Milano about working with BTS 🙏🧎‍♀️ ‘The biggest part for me working with them is just really like, they really love creating music. It doesn't seem like they're in it for the money. It doesn't seem like they're in it for clout. It seems like they really genuinely and passionately love music. I think we need to see that more because it's a gift from God that we have and we can't take it for granted because at any point in time it can get taken away. So when you do have the opportunity and the luxury and you do have the pleasure to work with amazing people and you're able to put this stuff out, take advantage of it, and I think THEY take advantage of it to the fullest extent, from their music videos to the performance to the recording to the engineering to who they collaborate with. They use it to the fullest extent, and I think that's why it's so receptive and it's performing the way it is, because they go above and beyond for their work and their process and their product.’

Phillip: Isn’t it the point that they need to get to a certain number in savings and in order to do that, they need fewer people to get benefits? Jennings: Yes. Isn’t it the point that you want people to go to work? Phillip: So in order to save money, you got to get people off the program. How is that not taking people off the program? Jennings: Because the goal of medicaid is not to trap people. It's not supposed to be a lifestyle.. I mean, there are able bodied people all over this country who do nothing.

Sam Altman: "I'm not a jobs doomer at all. I think there are gonna be tons of jobs." "If we could go back to 2019 and show people our latest model, not only would they say that it's AGI, they would say that the economy would have been completely upended. And that has not happened. Anytime you're that wrong and that confident, which I think we were as a field, you have to update. AI is just very jagged. It's like superhuman genius in some ways, like dumb toddler in others. And people have, so far, extremely complementary skills to AI. It's not taste…the world may need a new kind of word for the kind of judgment that people are very good at that AIs seem to really deeply struggle with. You can go hire an AI consultant right now or talk to an AI sales rep or hire an AI engineer. And somehow most people seem to still really prefer interacting with a human. I definitely would rather engage with a person than engage with an AI for almost everything. Human values have value because they're human. We are deeply hardwired to care about people."

🗣️ Mikel Arteta on the possibility of players leaving who have been here a long time: "It's a really, really tough moment, you need to face that reality. But you need to face it with real honesty and transparency because when you are on the other side, that's exactly what you need. "You might not like what you've been told, but if it's truthful, if it's the reality, if it's honest and it's going to help you to make better decisions and have more clarity for the next steps in your career, you have to do that. "These are always very difficult conversations, but they need to be done. It's like when a player doesn't feel that he belongs or he's important, he wants to have a different chapter, I think that communication has to exist and it has to be both ways. "We all know, everything has a start and has an end. When it comes to the end, I think our duty, our responsibility is to do it in the best possible way, maintaining the respect and admiration for the player and the relationship, but understanding that at the end, we need to make football decisions."

Americans hate bigots. And they hate cowards. And they really hate people who cower before bigots. Enough gaslighting. It's not "cancel culture" to expect our Vice President not to proudly pal around with someone who believes the real villain of WWII wasn't Hitler.

"I think Nyara and Bint both have a philosophy that is really important to make allies in the vtubing world for lefty stuff. So they have created frameworks to talk about issues to make themselves palpable to centrists." "I also identified what battles I pick. That I need to ally myself with different kinds of people in vtubing, that I need to be diplomatic and not like um... It's important for someone like myself to try to find ways to appeal to in the middle space." "Trying to convince people in the Phase community that are like left off center that there is actually a path where we can say ""I love Pipkin Pippa but it's also important that someone is not like racist"", which lo and behold is actually happening."
