The k- drama We Are All Trying Here is a must watch I know some people will watch one episode and call it boring. Because It’s not fast paced. It’s slice of life in the most literal sense people sitting in rooms with their envy, their 20 year old dreams that never launched, their friends who made it while they didn’t. It’s quiet. It’s slow. It lingers on silences. But that’s exactly why it gutted me. Because this show understands the war you don’t talk about. The one where you open Instagram at 2am and feel like a failure. Where you’ve been “trying” for years and the world still doesn’t know your name. Hwang Dong-man, twenty years into film school, still no debut. Byeon Eun-ah, called “The Axe” because she has to kill other people’s dreams for a living. Everyone in this drama is carrying some private worthlessness, some comparison they can’t shake. It’s not entertaining in the way K-dramas usually are. It’s uncomfortable. It holds up a mirror to the parts of you that feel behind, bitter, unseen. But that’s why it’s so relatable. That’s why I think everyone should watch it. On the outside, life looks fine but inside, everyone is struggling in their own way. And I think that’s what makes it so relatable. in korea, when people meet me, a lot of them only see the “gay” part of me first. but my friends and the people i met here were curious about me as a person. they wanted to know me, not just a label. i’m just me. being gay is only one part of who i am. but many people still approach me with preconceptions, or say they’re open minded like it’s some kind of joke. maybe that’s why i felt lonely without even realizing it. but here, i’ve received so much comfort. i’ve been genuinely happy. thank you to everyone who sees me for who i am and accepts me as i am. it really means more than you know.

Some people are upset that I said “Raising kanan” in the final season Is just as great as the others Is imo better than “the wire” It’s my opinion we don’t have to agree But romanticism plagues people The wire was great but it did have flaws 50 would never mess a scene up On raising kanan With bad song placement that does not even match the setting of the scene.. And also the actors in the car are terrible And they don’t even have lines lol Yes it was amazing and it’s legendary But I will not allow your romanticism with the past make you believe that the show from your childhood was flawless It was not!! It’s okay for new albums to be better than Illmatic It’s okay for new crime series to be better the wire It’s okay for a new teacher to take it to a level Malcolm X never got too It’s okay!

Watching all of this go down for the last five months has been like watching 2020 happen all over again. That’s the only other time I’ve felt anything remotely like this—where the truth is so obvious almost immediately, yet masses of people fall for the lie. And keep falling for it. In Los Angeles, the response to COVID went on for two straight years without stopping. It was a constant battle, and it was exhausting. This feels just like that. But I pray it’s shorter lived.

When I was a kid, I was fascinated by lenticular images. I really thought it was magic. Lenticular printing is not something you casually experiment with. It’s expensive. Industrial. Hard to access. So instead of buying it… I rebuilt it. Inside wabi I recreated the same optical behavior using webgl. Not just a transition between two frames, but a small system that reacts to angle like light bending through ridged plastic. It’s strange how something that felt like childhood magic can become something you build yourself. Maybe that’s what technology is supposed to do.

After 5 years in Solana, I honestly can’t believe we’re here selling out arenas for a crypto event. I’ve never seen anything like this. The Breakpoint venue is insane. The pop-ups are so clean and creative. All our favorite Solana brands are here. In my whole web3 journey, I’ve never been to an event like this. The energy is unreal. It really feels like the biggest event in crypto. Everyone is here. All my Solana friends, all the builders, every project you can think of. The whole ecosystem pulled up. It’s surreal to see how far we’ve come, I truly mean it. I felt a bit emotional looking at everything today. We have more users, more apps, more tech, more institutions, and more real usage than ever before. You cannot be bearish on Solana after experiencing this. This is the chain that’s going to run global finance. Everything is happening here. Solana is the everything chain.
