Alright this is starting to become a ridiculous problem. Second time in 24 hours on V14.3.7. This isn’t a native 14.3.7 problem, it has been happening to me (though rarely) since 14.2. I’m ok with nav thinking roads are closed and re-routing. 95% of the time it does this... show more

The discourse around the Eze penalty last night is fascinating. If nothing else it provides Arteta with an excuse as to how his team has been hard done by and robbed. He loves excuses. It’s a fascinating situation because I actually think the right outcome was reached albeit through the wrong process. Once given on the field under the current rules it shouldn't have been overturned. For that Arsenal can feel aggrieved. Don't forget Arsenal were the beneficiaries of an incredibly soft penalty in Leverkusen. It wasn’t overturned. I find the attached video interesting because it clearly shows how minimal the contact is. The defender doesn’t pin Ezes foot to the ground. Doesn’t smash into it. It brushes down the side of it. It’s where the still pictures of it were wildly misleading. Are we really saying that contact such as that is worthy of a penalty? What’s clear in the video is that Eze has absolutely made the most of the slight contact. I love the straight left leg. A very natural position. It’s a brilliant dive and normally it would have been rewarded. By saying that is a stone wall penalty all we are doing is encouraging such theatrics and cheating. Whenever you hear the words “that was clever” by a commentator they are intimating the player has cheated/made the most of it. We complain about refs all the time but what chance do they have when players are doing stuff like this. Until players are punished properly there is no disincentive for players to keep doing this stuff. I also find it fascinating when you have a foot brushed like this. When you compare it to all the holding/pushing/grappling at other times. Sometimes a contact sport and others not. Is this really what football has become?

Sitting here watching my Cybertruck charge with the mountains of Utah in the background, it hit me again… I really believe this is the most beautiful Tesla ever made. Every angle is different. It looks futuristic without trying too hard, and it fits just as well in the middle of a city as it does surrounded by nature like this. What makes this truck special is so much more than just the stainless steel or design. For me it’s how capable and practical it is. Long road trips, hauling gear, camping, tough weather, and FSD… it feels like THE one vehicle built to do almost everything. I’ve owned and driven many Teslas over the years, and every one has been amazing in their own unique way, but the Cybertruck is the first one that genuinely makes me stop and look back every time I park it. Driving across the U.S. in this beast has only reinforced that feeling. And to me, the Cybertruck is the best vehicle Tesla has ever built.

It is hard to know the very moment, but you can feel it in your bones when the president gleefully admits that his election was purchased with money from another country. He does this knowing that moves like this will usher in untold Republican loss in 2026 and 2028. And yet, he still does it. We’ve moved from nuance to bragging about the theft of American tax dollars and delivery over to another people in another place. It is not done to uphold US interests, but is a tithe to unbelievers who hold inexplicable power and authority over our government. And since it is done despite its devastating impacts on the upcoming elections, one must imagine it’s done under some sort of fear or duress. What other explanation could there be? It is one thing to know what goes on behind the scenes, and quite another for the president to admit it. This admission signifies the full transition from a strong lobby to absolute power, with the full sanction of the president and the full weight of government to enforce speech codes and stand up 100 task forces. This is to Republicans as BLM was to Democrats; this is them on one knee ushering in a time when you too will be expected to kneel.

The most retarded thing about Zack's Pixel Fold battery explosion is his claim (and people repeating it) that this is the first time ever that this happened. Well YEAH because it was also the FIRST TIME that he pushed it way beyond his usual destruction and kept trying to fold it over at the breaking point (the antenna) way after it already got destroyed On all his other ""tests"" he always stops when the phone breaks. Not to much here. After it broke he tried to completely fold it and THAT was the point that damaged the battery which resulted in it starting to smoke. All of those people who constantly cry about “cancel culture” are at it again cancelling a company called Liberty Safe. This comes after they spent months trying to cancel Bud Light. These people will say, “but we are justified,” and they are not. That’s not how this works though. People boycott and “cancel” companies and people when they feel there is a justification to do it. It doesn’t mean that it has to be justified in your mind, but it is in theirs. It’s just so hypocritical to me when people attack others for canceling companies but they go ahead and do the exact same thing themselves. For those who aren't familiar with this story, the Liberty Safe company gave a passcode to the FBI so that they could access a suspected criminal's safe. There was a search warrant issued on the criminal's home where the safe was located. What do you think? Do you support cancel culture? Do you only support it when it’s in your best interest, or do you support it no matter who it is?
