Although it took more time during shoot to set the frame for two aspect ratios, and it was more expensive in VFX and post, we shot both Baahubali movies in 1:1.9 aspect ratio. And you are right, we couldn’t get an IMAX release for part 1 as we hoped... show more

@BaahubaliMovie Why not 1:43:1 ? Is it because of non availability of such screens ? For eternal war, if there are many things that are happening with celestial bodies , free falls and battles 1:4:3 will look much better and be immersive and capture more details

I am thrilled to finally share something we have been working on in stealth for nearly two years with talented animation filmmaker Ishan Shukla. This fantastic film project, based in the #Baahubali universe, will set up the Baahubali franchise for its next phase. Arka Mediaworks is producing the two-part stylised 3D animation film "Baahubali—The Eternal War" in collaboration with Indian and international studios and creative teams. Our vision is to offer the first-of-its-kind animation film from India! We wanted our film lovers to experience the teaser in theatres first, so we attached it to #BaahubaliTheEpic. We hope you will love it. We will release the teaser online, first-look poster, and full details on the project, including the creative and technical teams and studios working on this ambitious project, next week. Stay tuned! 😊 Attaching a short clip of rajamouli ss discussing this project with #Prabhas and Rana Daggubati !

For the 1st time in Indian Cinema, certain action sequences in #Devara will blow up to 1.90:1 IMAX aspect ratio filling up the entire screen. 🥵 The standard aspect ratio for all Indian films is 2.35:1.

On Xavier Dolan’s birthday, we revisit this iconic and beautiful scene from 'Mommy' (2014) with Oasis’ "Wonderwall" playing in the background, where the aspect ratio shifted from 1:1 to 1.85:1.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 and Part 2 are available to watch in 3D on Vision Pro. I love the ultrawide aspect ratio. Movies on Vision Pro are better than in the theater.

If you didn't watch live, here are the updates. Jason is almost done, the final (really close to picture lock) cut is 1 hour and 37 minutes. We are hoping it's a February release, but we need time to market and finish the sound mix and VFX. It was made by a core team of 6 people, the most we ever had on set was 7, it takes time to get that right. Much love, keep creating. Here's an unfinished scene from the film. #jasontodd

Since IMAX has been a major topic of conversation lately with ‘The Odyssey’ being in theaters, now’s a fitting time to share a little bit of IMAX lore. For ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ the arena sequences were shot with IMAX cameras, so if you watch the movie on a standard Blu-ray, as Katniss enters the arena, the film’s aspect ratio will change from a standard 2.40:1 aspect ratio, to a full 1.78:1 ratio to fill the entire screen for the rest of the movie. You can’t watch the movie this way on streaming or digital platforms. Another reason why preserving physical media is important.

📢🚨 CCTV Footage of the alleged shooter in the parking garage with Fixed Aspect Ratio. Nothing else has been done to the footage. No contrast, sharpening, brightness, nothing. No AI processing. Just fixed the aspect ratio from being filmed from a camera in the courtroom at an angle to matching the corners of the monitor to the corners of the 16:9 aspect ratio of the NEC monitor used in the courtroom. Might be a better view for those looking into it. Zoomed shorter version also included. I used a Corner Positioner in Resolve to fix the aspect ratio and used standard Inspector Zoom.

We are being embarrassed. Every time we have elections, we return and we have new salaries. In the 10th Parliament, the pay for an MP was over 1 million and was not subject to taxation. In the 12th Parliament, it was moved to Ksh510,000 - Peter Kaluma

The best time to invest in a child is always now. Not when they are older, but right now, while they are still becoming who they are meant to be. In May, we showed up for 60 outstanding pupils across Lagos and what we got back was more than we expected. Responsibility. Ambition. Hope. That is the future right there and PalmPay is proud to be part of it.

Arteta says he’s upset Arsenal don’t score more set-pieces: “I certainly want to be (the best) I'm upset that we don't score more [set-pieces] and that we concede as well. So we want to be the best and the most dominant team in every aspect of the game. “That's the trajectory and the aim of this team and as a club, we want to be the same. So try to do that.”

“Right now as we speak, more internet is being deleted than is being created. This is the first time in history, where if we do this right, if we can preserve our wisdom correctly, you and I will be part of the first generation that will try, on a grand scale to collect wisdom and put it in a bucket and leap it forward for the next generation to grow upon”—Brian Roemmele on saving wisdom

Our first year anniversary was on Dec 15th 💨 When we decided to take the torch from KILLABEARS 🐻 on this venture, we literally took on the challenge to the heart and had no clue where to even begin. Day by day we took on the situations on hand and dealt with them accordingly till we shifted through right & wrong partners till we found our groove. Now after one year, we are in almost 50 stores and gas stations across US. This year, we are looking more optimistic than ever in growing our brand in not just legal cannabis but in actual marijuana dispensaries starting with 10 in west Seattle market and 4 in Chicago area. As we make progress with every stepping stone, our brand reach is getting more notable across the country. Here is just a snippet of one of the magazine articles we are featured on. There are more announcements to release but we will wait for the right time for those as we get to them. Thank you so much for the love & support this far and we are truly grateful for every one of you who supported us. Future is now 💨🚀

🗣️ Mikel Arteta on what was going through his mind when each goal went in: "Ways to be able to change it. Okay, we started to get more control and dominance for another action, but that gave them more belief and more momentum again. When you get into those moments, it’s extremely difficult to be able to change it. "We tried to change it at half-time, we started the second half and then we made two or three really difficult decisions that put us under more pressure. By the time we got some momentum, it was probably too late."

I don’t think people have paid attention at all to the growth commercially in terms of revenue generation as to why we are more than capable in terms of liquidity of finances, the room in our scr ratio and strong financial position to get this deal over the line because they were to busy calling us “the bottlers” for consistent 2nd place finishes and deep ucl competition runs that further boosted our revenue streams but I put this video and thread together to give you an idea of how possible it is. Be sure to check the revenue figures and scr ratio position I have included in the comment section of this post. Arsenal are not here to take part. We are here to TAKEOVER 🤷🏽‍♂️
