Everyone keeps calling the Apple Vision Pro's UI "Magical" I NEEDED to try it out for myself. The Quest Pro is capable of it so I made a demo using eye tracking and hand tracking replicating the Apple UI. Its really good. APK for everyone to try the "Vision UI Experience" soon, Video with my takeaways Sooner.

Rewrote the grapher in Metal. It now uses the GPU for rendering so it's crazy fast and lets you pan around with 0 lag. Also supports circles! Will update the TestFlight soon - want to optimize for iPad first. Thanks for your patience 🙏

For those who worry about the lack of controllers on Apple Vision Pro: You don't need controllers for artificial movement in VR. Here is the hand tracking alternative we built for Wooorld called 'Glider'. Pull it toward wherever you want to go. Pull it further to go faster. Movement is even more complicated in Wooorld compared to other VR apps & games as we have two modes of movement: 'Map Navigation' (first half of the video) and 'Locomotion' (second half of the video). And in many ways Glider feels better and more natural than controller thumbstick as it utilizes all three axes. *We still have lots of improvements planned for Glider.

I love this new battery dock for Apple Vision Pro. It's a game changer if you use Mac Virtual Display. It gives the battery a dedicated home, makes it really easy to connect to power, and lets me jump between work and other visionOS experiences. Link below.

This is a real step toward generative AI in AAA game pipelines and demonstrates how ComfyUI has grown from an open-source community tool to a production platform. Huge thanks to the Ubisoft La Forge team for giving back real production-grade tools to the open source community.
