Many people think of politics as a pendulum. When you point to unprecedented events, they'll respond: no need to worry, the pendulum will swing, and it'll all come back to a stable equilibrium. It's always worked out, and somehow always will. And that's true for many places, much of the time. But sometimes a political situation isn't a pendulum. Sometimes it's best modeled by Galloping Gertie, the former Tacoma Narrows Bridge. You see, that bridge started swinging from left, to right, and then further to the left, and even farther to the right, until it broke into pieces and completely fell apart. That's what happened to China, Germany, and Korea in the 20th century. They shattered into left and right pieces: North Korea and South Korea, East Germany and West Germany, PRC and ROC. And that was just a two-state equilibrium. But Yugoslavia broken into seven nations. The Soviets split into 15 countries. French decolonization gave rise to more than two dozen states, and the sunset of the British Empire created 50+ sovereigns. Now, in some sense, those were eventually stable political equilibria. Just like the pieces of the Tacoma Narrow Bridge did stop swinging. But they stopped after breaking apart, not after coming together.

see we saw the writing on the walls for this before he did. But now that he is policed by his own chat, it is a problem. This is why the left don't actually grow independently, without a leftist controlled "publisher" to sanitize for them. Off script, they're all horrible. Thats why you seldom see a DEI loser make it solo. Very rare. Where as, they hate the "gamer", the "youtuber", the "sloptuber", whatever, because they are not beholden to that script. The sanitization of language- or in my focus area of discussion, fiction, has been a net negative on society, and people like Hasan have caused that. All we had to do was wait it out to watch them eat their own, so now we get dinner and a show. But the pendulum is swinging hard, I've seen so many hitler jokes in the last year, as if everyone is trying to make up for the last 6. It's quite funny to watch. I was always in a weird boat, 2019~2020, I got suckered pretty badly but I never sanitized my language. What is happening now in America with “antisemitism” is actually a very and normal mechanical process that has happened centuries before. If you look over European history typically the Jews would come into the country as this sort of merchant class. They would saddle up next to the kings or rings of power, and help use debt and other instruments to accomplish the kings goal while enriching themselves… Eventually the populace would get fed up with it, and the king had to decide to clamp down on the populace and defend the Jews, or to simply expel them and maintain order. Now of course sometimes the Kings and elites got fed up with Jewish behavior themselves, and did it on their own accord, but the process is mostly the same. Jewish ethnocentrism, money lending, political power reaches a dynamic where it cannot be ignored, it is detrimental to the masses of that country, and this leads to Jewish expulsion. There are plenty of American elites that have “sold out” but surely there are old American families that have always hated the current system and have been waiting… Further, as the antisemitism continues to rise and once the spineless politicians no longer view selling out to the Jewish lobby as a net benefit they will abandon ship. The fleas that sold out Americans for self interest will turn and sell out the Jews for self interest.. the pendulum continues to swing.
