Always remember that Marvel’s Avengers game was the main reason why Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy flopped This game deserved to sell like the insomniac Spider-Man games because it was outstanding 💔

I’ve played it last year and got the Platinum… YEAH this game definitely deserved a sequel, the gameplay, the voice acting, the art style, the jokes, the graphics were genuinely TOP TIER

The game didn't flop because of Marvel Avengers. It flopped because it had zero marketing.

I bought it, the acting was good, the story was mid, the gameplay was ass. Felt like I was on a track the whole time and I was just there to be a button mashing monkey

when I started this game i was shocked that it is a legit singleplayer experience. i was expecting it to be a 4-player PvE slop. and it has some genuinely good moments

Its mid gameplay but I will say that the art director for it is exceptional cause they actually understand CONTRAST unlike every other highly paid "professional".

It was released on PS5 but it played like a PS3 game.

I think I've said it numerous times before, but I'll say it again. It's one of, or THE most emotional superhero game and one that takes it's time in laying out the scenes. Breaking the promise in particular, goes exceptionally deep and is uncomfortably mature.

I think many people thought it was a live service game like Avengers, not a single-player experience. I know this was an issue because how I learned it WASN'T was due to a thread on Reddit. I really enjoyed it, but it was a little long in the tooth for me.

I stopped playing, my character would get bugged on the table of the ship and I could never get down again. I had to close and reopen the game every time that happened.

If it deserved to sell well it would have. I barely even heard of the Marvel's Avengers game if it wasn't for the fact my brother is a massive comic book fan. I've never even heard of the guardians game. Good games sell well, Trash games sell like trash

Played it half way through, the story was good but the gun play got boring and repetitive real fast. They should’ve made the whole team playable

Sooo...it's on game pass Xbox wise...if you guys dunno about cloud gaming...grab a laptop and try it. Cloud gaming if you don't have a current gen runs 10X better on a computer even a laptop and you would swear you are using a gaming PC

I didn't play this game for its first year just because of the Avenger's game. When I finally picked it up on sale... I couldn't put it down. The music, the story, the costumes, the gameplay... all of it... Masterpiece

It's a great game but kinda valid when you have a whole as marvel games department and announce the avengers game 7 years before release only to release that kinda slop you lose the fan bases trust in marvel games made by Enix with multiple characters.

GoTG flopped cuz you can’t play as anyone but Quill. Idk if it’s a peter quill story cu the title isn’t starlord. I wanted a bigger variety on gameplay. Generally speaking it was a fun game but nothing that interesting

The Guardians of the Galaxy game was great. It had everything from the movies. The team dynamics and a kick ass sound track. The story was great too. I will probably replay it at some point.

I really enjoyed it. Found the same sort of humour as the movies so that was fun. If I remember right at the time everybody was crying because they didn’t use the movie actors. For me it made no difference to my enjoyment.

I enjoyed playing the Avengers game. Guardians probably had the better story but just didn’t love the gameplay compared to Avengers where each character played differently and it was fun creating builds. I wish Avengers just tried to be a single player game like Guardians

I was genuinely shocked how much I liked the game and story. I remember that this looked so much like Marvel's Avengers that I didn't even bother to try it until I could for free. I recommend the game to everyone I can now

The production was of very high value in every regard except gameplay. There it was basically a linear corridor chat fest with shimmying through gaps and climbing walls or trying to puzzle your way through a door while "story" happened. Oo..a big area..a fight is gonna happen
