Dutton said 1 of the purposes of gov’t is to correct if people are overpaid thru a payment system. It’s too bad they didn’t try to correct overpayments to Harvey Norman, Ford, Mercedes etc in taxpayer billions!

Always remember the media's lack of courage to actually report on robodebt. Incl PVO . All were happy to run the lnp stories and narrative as if it was gospel.

Ministers at anytime during Robodebt are responsible. They had the power to enquire, investigate & change or stop this illegal process. Tudge’s statement as Minister that they would hunt down victims & put them in jail shows culpability. They’re in it up to their necks .

@TonyKoc69285191 That's a textbook example of MSM's hypocrisy & perpetual double standard. A journalist's job is to speak truth to power & hold it accountable, not cheer for liars & racists who covered up a rape! Van Onselen was a serial apologist for the last LNP govt & for Porter in particular.

@OldStockRunOut Actually it comes back to the media that refused to hold the disgraced Scott Morrison’s Government to account for their actions.

At the end of it, as Catherine Homes stated, the media ugliness to portray welfare recipients in a certain light, meant we all closed our eyes. We need to wake up to propaganda we are fed day in and day out.

Remember, van Onselen protects close friend Christian Porter. They're ALL implicated. Morrison alone was no threat to anyone. Behind him stood a long line of corrupt politicians and 'media personalities' who enabled his shenanigans. Oh, and the Governor General of course.

Let’s get real This scheme is illegal Those ppl responsible like Morrison Porter and Rob must be prosecuted Lives were lost

A real tragedy .. But who really believes this or even worse won't happen again? individuals being held to account? likely just a distraction. A country that fundamentally abuses its own so-called citizens - thinks nothing of locking up asylum seekers - this is not Australia ...
