@alyss_33 That’ll preach!!! Praying over a teammate before a legitimate battle! Not necessarily to hit the game winning walk off homerun…..but to put it ALL in the Lords hands and trust Him for the outcome. Great sermon by Brito!!

2 years ago today: Jayda tied it and Kinzie won it to beat Texas. Trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the 7th, Jayda Coleman lifted a two-run home run to tie it, sending Marita Hynes Field into a frenzy. Shortly after, Kinzie Hansen hit the game-winner to cap off one of the most exciting games of the year.

My favorite thing about Jayda’s catch, aside from the catch, is what was happening in left field. After the game, Jayda said “I had 110% trust in Hannah Coor because she was the one that was telling me how much space I had to the wall… and that was the reason why I was able to make that play.” Seeing Hannah’s celebration made this moment even more incredible. Those are real TEAMmates. This whole team plays for each other, and that’s why they’re so successful.
