That shit is basically completely disjointed and has almost no extended hurtbox on whiff. Genuinely your best bet to whiff punish it is probably with a fucking jump in. You can probably clip it with or sometimes but it's tight.

A reasonable answer would be that it should whiff punish imo, but the reality is the extended hurtbox is barely there and it’s higher up too, so any chance of a whiff punish would be something that’ll tag that brief hurtbox like st mp or hit his body like sweep or a heavy
