No idea, yikes, holy repetitive strain. I thought a 'gathering' harvesting kind of machine drove down the rows, like corn harvesting.

Who knew! Clearly the worker and the farmer but I sure didn't. Thank for sharing. I'm assuming their doing it at night because it's much cooler for maintaining them vs a hot sun beating down on them. Got to love the automation of this process, this is the only way forward!

Hold on a sec, I have to add this to the list of reasons why I hate Brussels sprouts...

I have a great kale recipe.. You first get out your skillet, coat it with some vegetable oil, place all your kale into it, and open your trashcan and it easily slides right out of your skillet, and into the garbage can..

This is a sprouts harvester and stripper from a company called Tumoba, the leaves are stripped and returned to the beds for nutrient cycling. It’s propelled by a Caterpillar style chassis. It’s not a “room” it’s open in the front and moves down rows efficiently

I see this and wonder why we don't have some deal that would allow our farmers to fully automate, make the need for any human obsolete. It seems that helping them would help us all and alleviate so many issues. Imagine funding one less country and giving all that to farmers
