Might seem dumb, but consider this: no bacteria or contaminates make there way through and your blood doesnt come out. If you are, say, working with deadly pathogens or doing surgery with sharp pointy things...thats really important. These gloves arent made to protect you from injury, they are made to enforce a boundary between you and what you are working with.

@sciencezoneid Y'all are missing the point. It's not to protect ur hand. It's just showcasing the strength of the glove itself. How many times have latex gloves broken on you, whether it's the blue or clear ones. While cooking, gardening, house work, nursing, etc. this will save a lot of gloves
