All praise unto Jesus

check out this song by @SolarHeavy

Live like you are showing thanks for the sacrifice, make a joyful noise unto the lord.

Praise God

My pastor actually talked about this on Easter Sunday. He had a jacket with Tetalasti across the front of it!

Amen 🙌🙌🙌

Jesus didn’t speak Greek bud. Therefore he never said “Tetelestai”—that would also be a translation. He spoke Aramaic.

"It is finished" = greek word tetelestai In biblical business times it was placed on a receipt it meant "the debt had been paid in full." In a judicial context in court it meant "the sentence was fully served." "In a military context it meant that a battle had been won."

Jesus did not speak Greek he spoke Aramaic so what’s the word in Aramaic

Awesome, by grace I am saved. Do you know why God forsake Jesus on the cross? I always wondered about that.

Amen

Thank you pastor @howertonjosh of Lakepointe Church in Rockwall, Texas.

Posted this a while ago.

You still have to face judgement. Be worthy so it was not in vain.

Beautiful! Thank you.

Thrills the soul

My all the time reminder! 🙏

Amen brother

LOVE this. Thank you for sharing.

EVIL CAN NOT ENTER HEAVEN …🪐

The literal translation’ this is the end, it is done. Ton telos, it is ended. Signomi, I’m sorry to correct you, but close……..Yasou and Christos Anesti! Christ is risen.

Yeah. This is news to Christians? Truly Christian education is in a sad state. From the root word τέλος- completion, to end, that is, complete, execute, conclude, discharge (a debt). Pretty standard stuff for educated Christians. Oh, and water is wet!

I don't feel that we are worthy

Thanks for sharing!!!

Love this! Does anyone know his name?
