1 Million seconds = 12 Days. 1 Billion seconds = 32 Years. 1 Trillion seconds = 31,688 Years.

Use a logarithmic chart. Otherwise it’s misleading as the economy is measured at %-growth compared to the previous year.

the only way to continue is with more dollar devaluation. 50% less valueable than 2019 (see price of housing and autos) lets halve it again by printing so by 2025, markets are booming and $1T debt won't seem like much.

Very interesting that the debt payments went from 36 billion 1970 to 160 billion by 1980 but interest rates didn’t peak until well into the 80’s. If we draw parallels to today we are up a creek for sure… bring a back up paddle and look out for your families

Great graphic. Would be even better with another graph showing GDP, and a 3rd showing interest payments/GDP.

It’s hard to not imagine that at some point the US will literally flame out.

Borrow from future generations to finance it.
