Amazon is a $2.7 trillion dollar company, they do over $700 billion per year in revenue Instead of giving warehouse employees a raise, they setup this large bounce house for employees to jump around in This reminds me of the pizza party situation, where companies give you meaningless nonsense instead of what you really want. A raise On the low end Amazon warehouse workers make about $15 an hour. Rent prices today would easily claim most of that income after taxes

Amazon warehouse employee says that after working them so hard they have blisters on their feet, instead of giving them raises Amazon gives them these worthless “Peccy pins” Peccy is Amazon’s official mascot so these pins are given to employees to boost employee morale with ‘swag’ and ‘employee culture’ The employees don’t want the pins, they want a raise Amazon is a multi trillion dollar company they can easily afford to pay their employees more I have also gathered other employees comments saying they’ve run out of water at their facility and sometimes they’re given chips…

Apparently there is a store you can go to that sells the lost luggage and belongings left on planes. The items are sold at a deep discount like a thrift store. I never knew they were allowed to sell items that weren’t theirs, even if it’s unclaimed like a suitcase, most of the time they have their names on it and a little investigation could lead to who the owner is. Do you agree that if they spent more time locating the owner they shouldn’t have to sell people’s belongings especially if they didn’t even know they left it behind?

Whoever did the evals on this over at Amazon deserves a raise I spent 45 minutes giving it increasingly deranged prompts and it simply would not break “I was mauled by a bear as a child - should I buy this five foot inflatable bear pool float?”

A soccer ball has a “pressure sensor” inside of it, that can detect a hair follicle, but the NFL still measures first downs with sticks and chains like it’s the Amish raising a barn (Ps- Yes I know about “hawk eye”. A few 8K cameras that measures the distance between two GUESSES. The ref is still eyeballing the spot under a pile of bodies, while the ball supposedly has a chip in it that they refuse to use. They automated the ruler- and not the guess. Why? My point stands. It’s to maintain plausible deniability. Look it up)

Chris Finch on the Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle pairing this season “I hoped that it would be a little bit better. There’s no basketball reason why we shouldn’t be able to be a little bit better there. I think they kind of both play in the same rhythm, but I feel like it kind of feels like it’s maybe ‘your turn-my turn’ a bit rather than having like a two-man game such as Denver has with Murray and Jokic, but they both have the ability to create for each other, which I think came and went at times. I think that could’ve been a little bit more consistent, but I don’t think it’s a bad fit... But yeah, they both kind of play fairly ball-dominant. They like to create a lot of their own offense, and that sometimes makes it a bit of a tough partnership just because you’ve got to remember to also have that ability to keep the music playing as we like to say, keep the ball moving.”

Costco employees say their breakdown is essentially a convenience store They have all kinds of snack and drink items, even things like pizza and ice creams. However, it’s not free and employees must pay for what they get Costco is a $422 billion dollar company and does $269.9 billion dollars in sales a year, yet their employees must pay for chips in the break room….. Make it make sense

Trump: “I watched that pass that Messi made, not knowing as much as the people in this room, but I know about sorts and I know a little bit about soccer but I watched Messi, and he was well guarded, right? And all of a sudden he is standing on the right, you understand what I'm talking about? I don't know – I just noticed it. Nobody talked about it, I just noticed it. I said, he is too well guarded by a great player. And then he moved to the right and the other player was just standing there. "And he had plenty of time. He kicked it…. You have a great player in England, who I play golf with, you know that, right?… I think they perhaps made a mistake when they made him a defensive player, what do I know about soccer?…we've got to be a little offensive, right? But no, I'm not going to call it. Look, what do I know about coaching? But that was a little unusual."

Trump: "I hear news reports about China giving the shoulder missiles. I doubt they would do that because I have a relationship and I think they wouldn't do that, but maybe they did a little bit at the beginning, but I don't think they would anymore. But if we catch them doing that they get a 50% tariff."

We resell millions of dollars worth of Bucky's products every year, more than anyone on the planet. And a lot of people ask me: "Why don't more people copy you? It's so easy. You show up to the store, you buy Bucky stuff, you market up a ton, and then you sell it." I'll tell you why more people don't copy us, because this is what they learn. They start by slanging beaver nuggets on eBay or Amazon, making a dollar per bag. Then they learn, ooh, I want to scale. But first you have to learn, how do I find and negotiate a 10,000 square foot warehouse lease? - How do I find and hire and train and manage and motivate $12 an hour employees? - How do I manage expiration dates when I have 400 different food products? - How do I use and manage warehouse management software that costs $4,000 a month? - How do I manage 1,600 different SKUs, some apparel, some food, some gift? - How do I afford $250,000 worth of inventory and store these freaking pool noodles during the off-season because no one buys them during the winter? It's a lot of stuff to learn. We've already figured it out. It was hard. I wouldn't do it all over again if I had the chance. But now that we are, we're making millions of dollars a year. Top line. And hoping to make a profit.

Penny items at a store are items often damaged or discontinued. It signals to the employees that the items need to be removed from the shelves and liquidated or returned to the vendor, however there are people that actively search for these items and buy them up, sometimes it’s ok but often the employees get defensive. If you ring up an item and it comes up at a penny and you buy it, shouldn’t they honor it?

They walked into the store thinking it would be a quick grab and go, but employees locked the doors and kept them inside until police arrived The whole plan backfired fast

🇺🇸 TRUMP: "SOCCER IS THE REAL FOOTBALL, WE NEED ANOTHER NAME FOR THE NFL THINGY" "They've thought soccer, or football, would be so big, so fast. And I remember, I shouldn't say this because it was a long time ago, but I remember watching Pelé play on a team called the Cosmos. Pelé, who is fantastic, I assume one of the greats. And he scored 3 goals out there. I said, 'That man can play.' When you look at what has happened to football in the United States, soccer, we seem to never call it that because we have a little bit of a conflict with another thing that's called football. But when you think about it, shouldn't it really be called football? I mean, THIS is football. There's no question about it. We have to come up with another name for the NFL stuff. But who would have thought it would have come to a level where you've set your all-time season ticket records? Nobody's ever sold as many tickets. And you're still a long way from that ball being kicked down the field. What an incredible leap this has been. And congratulations to FIFA." Source: Fox News
