70+ hours into our sit-in, we were welcomed over Zoom by New Birth Missionary Baptist Church more than 30,000 congregation members strong. 🙏🏾 It was an honor, and it was history. In this moment, with our democracy on the line, we felt the power of faith and community standing with us. Republicans may try to silence Missourians with a Trump ordered gerrymander, but this movement is bigger than their politics. It’s about justice, it’s about history, and it’s about all of us choosing to rise together. We are not alone in this fight and we’re not backing down.
