Around 25% of the rockets fired by Hamas and Islamic Jihad toward Israel have fallen short inside Gaza — killing civilians, including children. The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry then counts these deaths as victims of Israeli airstrikes. This is not a mistake. This is deliberate deception. Hamas deliberately inflates civilian casualty numbers by including the people its own rockets kill, in order to wage a propaganda war against Israel. The numbers coming out of Gaza cannot be trusted. They are referring to what this reporter for i24NEWS English talks about. - Families gunned down in their beds. - Babies who have their heads cut off in front of parents. - Innocent civilians purposefully kidnapped or murdered. The building housed military infrastructure including an underground compound that served as a safehouse for Hamas terrorist operatives, from which they coordinated terror operations.
