Australia has one of the strictest gun laws in the world. One of the mass shooters at Bondi Beach was a “legal” gun owner that was licensed. Gun laws don’t save innocent people from maniacs that are determined to kill people. Those maniacs don’t give a shit about how many laws you put on the books. They will acquire a firearm no matter how difficult you make it for everyday citizens. All you will do is ensure the rest of us are unarmed and have no way to defend ourselves and our families from those maniacs. If the Jewish community at Bondi Beach had more legal gun owners among them, they could have saved lives…instead they were treated as target practice BECAUSE of Australia’s strict gun laws.
