American foods are now being engineered using robots to be as addictive as possible “PepsiCo is literally using a robot that mimics human taste buds to make sure that you crave their product before you've even had the first bite. When machines determine what we crave, it's not food...

Austen Allred on Gauntlet AI: "We're very up front that we're 80 to 100 hours a week. If you think that that's a terrible idea, please don't come." "We're in Austin, all right? That's a sacrifice for a lot of people. If you don't think like coming to Austin for 100 hours a week and jamming on AI unpaid and just building stuff to figure out how much you can learn and hopefully getting a job on the other side... if you don't think that's awesome, that's totally fine. Please don't come." "There are some psychos out there that think that that's a good time. We wanna collect all those psychos. So come all, come all ye crazy people. And if that's not for you, that's okay." "There are companies that come to us and say, "Hey, we want, you know, 100 engineers that are going to sit in our division of printer drivers and sit there." And I'm like, "They would kill themselves." The people that are coming to Gauntlet would not do that. And so we turn companies down too." So we know who we are, we know what we stand for. You know, it helps that I'm one of those people that would've loved that. So is Ash Tilawat, and so is everybody else that works at Gauntlet. "So it's not hard for us to find other crazy people like ourselves. And that doesn't have to be you. That's okay." "We're not trying to empire build or solve all of humanity's greatest problems. We know that there's a limit to who we're addressing and what we're addressing at any given time." "So our goal is to be the best thing we can possibly be for that weird island of misfits. And for the companies that need a weird island of misfits, we'll be that all day long."

YOKO ONO: ONOCHORD, VENICE, 2004 Yoko: The world is divided in two industries. One is the War Industry and the other is the Peace Industry. The people in the War Industry are totally together. They don't have to talk to each other, even. They know exactly what they want to do. They want to go out there, kill and make money. But the people in the Peace Industry, which are us - we are so idealistic that each one of us criticises the other Peace Person in the Peace Industry. And we are always just arguing and we are wasting our energies doing that. So let's just forgive each other and see that we are in the Peace Industry and that's all that counts. Even if you are not marching for peace, just be yourself, being a florist, being a merchant, being a talior, anything. That way you're contributing to the Peace Industry. People are just concentrating on fear, confusion and anger. And therefore just for a moment, I'd like us to think about Love. In a very magical, straight way, John and I met in London and from then on we stood for Peace and Love. And when I do this kind of event. Well it is... I was inspired to do it, but I still think that I'm still with John in spirit. John and I created the country called Nutopia. Not Utopia, because there was Utopia as a concept already. And we wanted to create a new concept, so we just added N on it - Nutopia - and as a country. Well, that is the concept of a country. And we all are citizens of that country. And in my apartment in the Dakota Building, we put a little plaque on the back door, the kitchen door. It says 'Nutopian Embassy' and even now we have that. (laughs). Nutopia exists in our minds. And because of that, some people want to rebel against it. The reason some want to rebel against it is a good proof that it exists. I think that it was a terrible thing that happened in Chechnya. But we have to still keep our hopes up. And instead of giving up, we have to keep on sending the message of Love to each other. You say that I am the Ambassador of Peace. We are all Ambassadors of Peace. You are too. Everybody in this room are Ambassadors of Peace. Just the fact that we are not participating in War. The fact that we are here, and we are what we are, means that we are in the Peace Industry. All of us. John and I used to say that our apartment in the Dakota is a conceptual monastry, just for the two of us. And when we go out of the Dakota, we get so many people communicating with us, so it's very important that we had silence and quietness. And my apartment is a very small space compared to the world. And I need that for my peace of mind. You should be kind to each other. You should come together, hug each other, love each other, express our love to each other and we should make it work. We should finally create a world that is a totally an Earth for Us. So let's do it. Zack Polanski speaking at the Bakers, Food and Allied Workers Union, "The government are very good at recognising the problems, at recognising the crisis, the supply chain issues, the energy crisis in Iran, the energy crisis from Ukraine" "But very rarely do they seem to have solutions, things to actually do about it. And when they do have solutions, rarely are they solutions of the scale we need" "So if we look at the energy crisis, for instance, we've heard recently that energy bills in this country could go up 200 pound per year, on average for a household" "That's completely unacceptable" "And far too often I don't hear the solutions from the government that are just so obvious to ramp up our investment in renewable energy to make sure that we're insulating every single home in Britain that needs it" "So it is both warm in the winter and cool in the summer as well as creating hundreds of thousands of good green jobs that could be in public sectors that could be unionised so people are paid properly and treated with dignity and, and care and to remove the subsidies from the fossil fuel companies" "The same people who are destroying our planet should not be getting subsidised by the government at a time when we're in the climate crisis" "But as you know, well it's not just an energy crisis, it's a crisis for food too. Because what we've seen in Iran or implicated by Iran is a fertiliser crisis" "We know how devastating and damaging that already is for our supply chains and for the food that we produce" "And this badly needs intervention, it badly needs help. And what did we see this government do? Well, they cut tariffs on chocolates and biscuits" "Now don't get me wrong, there is room to do this and that will provide a small relief for some families" "That's not a long term plan for UK businesses and UK food production" "That's not a Long term plan to invest in resilience and in our food supply chains, in our energy" "It's not a long term plan that takes these issues seriously, not in the next few weeks or months, but goes we need to fundamentally rethink our systems change and how we provide food security as one of the most fundamental things in our society"

American Citizens Are Calling For Accountably Of Their Money Being Spent On Illegal Immigration Programs Illegal Immigrants Given Up To $9,000 Per Month For Housing Assistance 🚨 “Let's talk about the money that is being spent. I think that there needs to be a federal audit against the company that we have contracted out to take care of the migrants. We have nurses that are being paid $64,000 a month. We have security officers that are being paid as much as $24,000 a month. We have home health care workers that are being paid up to $17,000 a month. You don't think that Chicagoans could have benefited from that? We have citizens in this city that have been on the waiting list for affordable housing for years, and migrants have been bumped in front of them. We have people who have been given up to $9,000 a month for housing assistance. That amount of the city of Chicago. We are not am pro black. I am for my marginalized who have been expect us to give up our parks places in our community for others. We're not saying that there's not room here, but what we are saying is that we are not going to step aside for you to accommodate them when you have continued to leave us out of the equation. So I'm not just talking to Brandon Johnson right now. I'm talking to Governor Pritzker and I'm talking to President Biden and I want you to understand This upcoming political year where the Democratic Party is on the menu, hear me, people of Chicago, of Illinois and of the United States. It is time for us as black people to stop voting party. It is time for us to stop voting color. It is time for us to start voting our self-interest. And if the Democrats in the city of Chicago, the state of Illinois, and the country of USA refuses to listen to us, then it is time for us to start looking at other alternatives. We are looking at all the alternatives. We will not step aside and continue to be mistreated. We will not continue to be disrespected. I'm looking at people who are coming here from another country giving work visas, giving social security cards. Nobody is asking them what walk of life that they come from. You don't think that our brothers who have been in prison, out and who have changed their lives will benefit for the same opportunities that we're giving these migrants. And I'm not saying that they don't deserve those opportunities. But what I am saying is we deserve them first. What I am saying is you can't continue to put us on the back burner and think that we're going to continue to be okay with it. We've done that for long enough. And what we're saying here today is that is no longer acceptable to our governor that you're not going to continue to set money aside for people who don't live here and disrespect, mistreat and forget about us. You've forgotten about us. You have treated us as if we don't matter and we're saying to you you're not going to continue to do this. We're saying to you to see us. You're dumping people into our communities who are going to at some point move us out of the say to you, if you want to glimpse into what's going to happen, look at how people of color are being treated in Venezuela right now. We seem to forget that Venezuela was one of the first places that had African slaves that they were taken to. We're forgetting about that. And so we're forgetting that there are blacks in Venezuela who are being treated the same way we are. And so for us to expect that they're going to come here and be put into society and treat us differently is a pipe drain.”

🔥 Burlison to Trump: "Just waive [NDAs] completely for anything related to...non-human intelligence." 🔥 (Yes!!! He gets it. Burlison is one of the few Rs who will push (even if it's gently) the Trump admin on these issues. Make it right for whistleblowers like Grusch, Dylan Borland, Matthew and others.) Rep. Eric Burlison: "...the cost of pensions, their medical benefits, you know, etc. I think that, first and foremost, you got to make it right to those people. That will demonstrate to everybody else who wants to come forward that it's a safe place to come into. "And then I think what what Rep. Anna Paulina Luna is leading on is fantastic, in that making sure that the administration knows that there may be some times where these individuals who were working, you know, they were promoted into a system or a program. Sometimes...they're now inheriting things where they, where they realize, well, there's crimes involved in this. "And so, you know, they're kind of put in an awkward situation. Do they do their patriotic duty? What do they do? I think that providing some level of amnesty for them to be able to come forward is very, very important. And then, I finally think, also, that they need to waive the non-disclosure agreements on this topic. Particularly just waive it completely for anything related to the knowledge of life that's outside, you know, non-human intelligence. I mean, I don't see why we possibly should even allow that to be a top secret thing. "And so, if there's anything that's related to that, it should be waived. I think that that's what our ask is of this administration, as well as to continue digging into the private sector. I think that a lot of this information is in the in the hands of either the...or the archives of these federally-funded research and development centers and then further some of the some of the prime subs (subcontractors) that have been working on this topic. "And so I think that it's gonna take making it clear that to our major companies that we do business with, or do business with the United States, that it's okay to come forward. And I think that we're gonna have to have a discussion if they do have - if they're reverse engineering stuff that they got because it was from non-human intelligence - we need to make sure that we can have that conversation about intellectual property, so that those are the next steps."
