As a Texan, even though I am 100% opposed to open borders, I like Mexican culture. And I get sick of people disparaging Mexicans online. I have interacted with Mexicans or Texicans etc many many times in 30+ years and never had a problem with integrity or honesty. Never. My wife and I and our daughter's families have had had Mexican housekeepers for years. I leave my wallet on my desk. They straighten my desk. Never a problem. Not once. A lot of people don't understand that the vast majority of Mexicans have devout Christian/Catholic beliefs. And they understand and value right and wrong in ways that many other immigrant groups simply do not.

Simple: Mexicans make delicious food with delicious meat.... and they are our southern compadres....

Also the Mexicans are Christian. Which, even though they are Catholics, it is far more compatible with American Protestant culture then Hindu culture.

For three years I ate at a Mexican restaurant at least once a week, as did ICE officers who worked at the Federal detention center less than 3 miles away, all knowing full well the entire staff, including the owner were illegals. Why? BECAUSE THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. The place won awards, then was shut down because of "unpaid taxes". Mexican > Indian. I can count on one finger how many times I've eaten at an Indian restaurant. First time last time.
