What are your sources for this modern mining tech? Genuinely curious Just want to put out there that the National Parks made $55.6 Billion in revenue last year. The amount has only gotten greater over the years. Is that worth it to the states to take it away from the public?

Data centres did not exist 32 years ago, and therefore nor did the term critical minerals… In recent years, as the world has rapidly advanced, a message we have regularly repeated is that not only is the African continent currently a major source of these critical minerals, but the continent will be increasingly relied on in the future.

This is huge for the commodity sector US minerals and supply chain czar David Copley on the US plans to regain independence: - Mining will get a lot of attention from governments around the world - Mining is a priority area for US national development - Critical minerals in the US are priority no. 1 - The US will continue stockpiling minerals - The US wants to increase profitability in the rare earth space - Over the next few years, the US is going to invest 100s of B in the mining sector - The US wants a roadmap for every mineral vital to its economy This is a game changer for the industry, especially with regard to rare earths. Rare earths aren’t rare, but their mining and processing are very environmentally damaging. Western companies with ESG mandates can’t compete with Chinese counterparts, which don’t face these regulations and also enjoy state subsidies. The result was absolute dominance. China’s subsidized low prices forced Western companies out of business and increased China’s market share to up to 97% of rare earth processing and ~60% of rare earth mining. In the future, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are two pricing schemes for critical minerals: one for China/BRICS and one for the West. This race to regain critical minerals independence will lead to more supply shocks and subsequent price spikes.... creating a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in the commodity space. It still pains me and a lot of young people that South Africa is not industrialised, yet we have all the means to do so. We continue to export over 70% of our minerals and create jobs in other countries while our own youth remain unemployed. Education is the tool we must use to industrialise properly. We need to invest in specialised schools; in agriculture where land allows, in energy, mining, and artisan training where minerals and infrastructure demand it. This is how we equip young people to build, innovate, and grow the economy. Let’s have this discussion! #ANCYLatWork
