An anonymous user preserved a whopping 23 Konami i-mode games, including the the keitai-exclusive Gradius NEO and its sequel Gradius NEO Imperial. The full list of games is in the replies. The DoJa 5.1 SDK does not run these games very well, in addition to poor sound emulation.

Here's all 23 Konami i-mode games that were in this amazing haul:

Always with you - AAA Clock. Great retro game included! 🕐 #AAAClock #indiedev #indiegame #IndieGameDev #nintendo #OLED #switchOLED #NintendoSwitch

i hope g-mode respond to the requests for these two games, but this is still monumental

Why has mobile game preservation been so poor for the longest time, and only now has there been significant progress in preserving them?

On the Japanese feature phone side, it can be credited to the debug cable, a non-destructive method of dumping i-mode phones. This was developed about a year and a half ago. There are still a ton of challenges, but it's made a ton of phone models dumpable...

Hopefully one day someone would hack the sound of the SDK in order to improve it. Quality wise it seems fine, but sounds like it is under-performing a lot.

that's huge! 🤯

i love that they made TWO neos

Gradius neo imperial finally got dumped is not on my bingo list

Damn, another mythical creatures finally unearthed... never know there's more gradius games outside of neo series
