Yeah that’s density and electromagnetism at work. Gravity is just misdefined and we need to correct that.

Mercury has a high density of 13.5 g/cm³, which means that many materials with lower densities can float on its surface. Examples of these materials include iron, steel, copper, lead, and even some types of rocks. Some patents and research explore using mercury's properties—such as its high conductivity, ability to form vortices in magnetic fields, and density—to potentially create antigravity devices or understand related phenomena!

Selective gravity lol 😂

No, you idiot, buoyancy. Which is impossible without that one thing you clowns like to deny, and that is gravity. What is selective gravity? Is that like when you guys deny its existence when it doesn't work in your favor?

Different liquids have different densities, which means they can 'carry' different weights. Just like ships can fliat on weer but not on air.. A bit more knowledge of physics would be nice, if you want to have a discussion instead of being laughed at..

So stupid..mercury is much more dense than water..buoyancy allows for the anvil to float in liquid mercury. Clearly it displaces more mercury than it ways..do you know any science?

That’s just basic density Shit floats because it’s lighter than the surrounding fluid Steel is less dense than mercury. Steel floats It’s middle school physics

The mercury is denser than the anvil, dunce. 🙄

No that’s just how density and buoyancy work. The density of steel is 7.85g/cm^3 the density of mercury is 13.59 g/cm^3 so the mercury displaced by the steel is nearly double the steel hence why the “water line” where the anvil floats is roughly at the halfway point.

Just wondering...your tag 'bronze giant'...are you into machine tooling, metallurgy?
