Truth is men always know they need women, that's the problem with today’s society. You would never find a man saying he doesn't need a woman. The worst he can say is I don't want drama at this stage I just want peace. I think society (especially movies and movements) have taught women that they don't need men, that risky from a biblical point of view. A lady told me she's hyper independent it was the first time I heard the word and I still don't get it, who created that word and why should any man or woman ever think they are hyper indepent.
