I think it's appalling to display an image of this man, Ben Roberts Smith, given everything we know about him, in the 'Hall of Valour' at the War Memorial. The CEO of the War Memorial says he "stands by it".

Ever wondered what art shows were like 250 years ago? 🖼 🕰 The first exhibition of contemporary art opened in London in 1760. Paintings were densely hung from floor to ceiling, and these crowded, noisy events attracted thousands of visitors who came for both the spectacle and the art. 🎨 In #TateBritain’s free display, ‘The Exhibition Age,’ artworks are hung high and low, just as they were back then. ✨
