An essential milestone that goes beyond capabilities, it concerns the full fleet envelope of the A400M operative. A Full Operational Capability is based on aircraft, but also is about crews, maintenance, training and infrastructure, including the last certification reached with the aircraft: the ability to drop a special-forces boat for the French Navy Commandos, which was achieved last February. With 24 aircraft and more than 10 years in operation, the French A400M fleet has achieved a definitive level of maturity.

The US Air Force first took combat coded F-35A's to Exercise Red Flag in 2017. It was an overwhelming success. Israel then deployed its F-35I Adir in combat operations with success. The IAF has since overwhelmingly dominated the Iranian IADS and C2 capability on the back of its F-35I's and other capabilities. USAF's F-35A's were the first aircraft to enter Iranian Air Space during Ops Midnight Hammer paving the way (SEAD) for the strike package to follow. The JPO and its dismal modernization track record deserve the heat. Yet the F-35’s current capability remains second to none. It is a platform proven in large force exercises, expeditionary deployments, and combat operations, all forged by the most exhaustive flight test program in history. Türkiye’s defense chief says the KAAN fifth-generation fighter has reached another major milestone, with multiple prototypes now advancing in parallel as development, testing and production accelerate. Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün called the hangar rollout of the static test aircraft and the second flying prototype “a very valuable step” in the National Combat Aircraft program. The first prototype flew in 2024; development and production are now running simultaneously. KAAN will feature low observability, internal weapons bays, advanced avionics, sensor fusion, electronic warfare and multi-role capability, placing it among “the selected class of combat aircraft in the world that can be counted on one hand.” A domestic engine and phased capability upgrades are underway. Human–unmanned combat integration is also being developed in parallel. Serial production preparations are progressing at full speed.

🇨🇳 At the Asian Civil Aviation Exhibition, China presented the high-altitude reconnaissance and strike unmanned helicopter "Meiyujian" ("Featherless Arrow"). The first tests of the drone with live firing took place in July this year. Previous tests were conducted at an altitude of over 4000 m. The next stage will be tests using satellite communication for beyond-visual-range control at an altitude of over 6000 m.
