AI is the craziest thing I kicked off a bunch of agents before leaving to the gym, i had them work on this game idea I've been toying around with. I get back home and I've completely forgotten about it and I hear a bunch of explosions going off from my office. I look at my PC and find a bunch of tanks in that the agent generated battling each other and lagging like crazy🤣

Nano is a depth-aware atmospheric haze plugin that uses ML depth estimation to add physically accurate fog and light scattering to your footage. Works *best* on log footage with visible light sources - it analyzes scene highlights then creates airlight (atmospheric scatter) and halation (light bloom) that responds to actual depth in the scene. Pretty clever approach to getting that cinematic haze look without having to pump a fog machine on set. Makes the OG Trapcode Shine look extremely dated (basically 2D light streaks masked by luminance values), and is yet way more controllable than the current crop of generative AI video-to-video tools.

There's been an unfortunate incident in LA with a Uhaul plowing into a crowd of anti-Khameini protestors This man should never have been able to get near the crowd with a uhaul but some info about the situation seem to be - signage on the truck is anti both the shah and the current ayatollah. is this his actual position or is this camouflage to have gotten into the protest to perpetrate an attack? "no Shah, No regime, No Mullah" Mullah is a religious leader so possibly referring to the current leader and not a king like Pahlavi Timeline appears to be - anti-Khameini protestors try to rip signs off his vehicle and are bashing on the windows and eventually his passenger side window is broken - guy in uhaul then stutterstops forward into the crowd, eventually accelerating further, then stuttering again, then full stopping down the road - there is a man surfing on top of the uhaul in the 3rd video, below I have posted another video showing the man on top of the uhaul trying to take the posters off the side, so he is likely part of the anti-Khameini protestors - uhaul driver is taken into custody by police is this a case of police not having the street sufficiently blocked off and so a guy was able to get a uhaul in here? He should not have been able to drive a uhaul this close to a massive protest crowd There are a lot of people saying this is a terrorist attack, it is possible it could be one but I don't think there's enough information to accurately assert that at this time The chronology of events also shows it is possible that the driver was in fear of his life since protestors were banging on the uhaul, windows, and removing signs+ eventually breaking his window Whatever turns out to be the actual case, it is an unfortunate event and as of right now a seeming silver lining is that no deaths have been reported

First Path of Exile 2 Review: -Campaign about 35-40 hours -"Dark Souls of ARGPs" another reviewer thought the same thing -No difficulty options -No easy game -Lots of challenging boss fights -Feels so rewarding to beat them -Dark Souls and Elden Ring feeling -Maps are astronomically large (1 h from side to side) -Maps feel a little bit empty in terms of events -Scratched the tiniest surface of the game after 40 hours -Great sense of discovery (mechanics, builds and lore) -Feels like 3 games into one -Almost limitless combinations of builds -Lot easier to respec your skills -50-100 changes was no problem -Outstanding dark theme art direction -Clearly inspired by Diablo 2 -Details on skill effects and boss designs are the best in the industry in the ARPG genre -Blown away by the amount of detail -Most dynamic combat in an ARPG -Switch to controller was a revelation -Feels like a game that was designed for controller first -Plays even better than Diablo 4 with a controller -Potential to be the alltime king of the genre -Some bugs and crashes occurred -Strong believe that the developers will join the annals of greatness alongside Larian Studios and FromSoftware Watch:

Star Wars pioneered so many special effects that we take for granted today. When filming the destruction of Alderaan in Star Wars, the effects team at Industrial Light & Magic used a surprisingly simple practical effect. The planet was a painted sphere suspended in front of a black backdrop. To create the explosion, they rigged the miniature with pyrotechnics and filmed it with high-speed cameras at a faster frame rate so the blast would appear massive and cinematic when slowed down. One interesting detail is that the explosion was partially achieved using gasoline and powdered cement. The cement gave the blast a heavier, planetary look rather than a quick fireball. Because the miniature exploded outward so quickly, the slowed footage helped sell the illusion of an entire planet tearing apart in space. for this video wanted to see how far i could get with claude code no premiere or after effects allowed this would've taken 15 min using those traditional tools instead i prompted the entire edit and described all effects through natural language it wound up being an incredibly terrible user experience that took me 4 hours and burned through a ton of tokens 😂 shot in ibiza on a $50 camera i got on amazon by my guy Wut

It’s been an outrageous weekend for Vanderbilt Baseball 2026 commit RJ Cope, a 6-foot-8 first baseman and lefty with top-of-scale raw juice from the left side at the plate. The big man is 10-for-16 with a homer, double, four walks to two Ks and three stolen bases. It’s a no-doubt power over hit profile but he’s done an outstanding job of waiting for his pitch and depositing it in gaps like in the video below when he put a defensive two-strike swing on a ball to cash in runs for his team in a critical spot. All of this and Cope is still new to hitting. His potential is off the charts with the bat.

Michael Harris II with the diving grab this evening in Atlanta: 80% catch probability. Why did it look so tough? -5.3 feet below average on the jump, and that's against all OF, not just CF. Tough sun for sure. The broadcast with an excellent theory, they cut to Andruw Jones with "he's probably saying he catches this standing up"! Still a fun catch and exciting finish. Please don't think you're not allowed to love a catch because of what the metrics are. Harris II always tends to catch the ball, the most important thing!

China has become the second country in the world with an orbital-class launcher system with first-stage booster recovery through controlled reentry and propelled landing. After delivering its payload to low Earth orbit, The Long March 10B had its booster landing on a recovery ship in the South China Sea with a net-and-hook system. SpaceX has more than a decades lead on the Chinese, with Starship being at a completely different position in this space race but the Chinese are clearly going to be putting a lot of effort into trying to catch up. It’s remarkable that the Europeans have been so slow to start experimenting with these technologies. ESA and ArianeGroup have been slow off their feet and both the Themis and Callisto programs are still very far from pulling off what the Chinese did today and miles and miles away from being able to do what SpaceX does.
