An SUV driver attempts to be a normal person

I can see the problem here. They bought a Discovery and not a Defender.

This does not excuse bad driving which this is.

nah that was obviously a cyclist in the car. if it were an SUV driver, they wouldn't have collided at all.

Maybe they were on the way to pick up their bikes and go to the park?

I assume nobody was badly hurt. And both cars are surprisnigly undamaged. But keep focused: any pedestrian or cyclist being close to this type of accidents could be crippled for life. SUV: Surprisingly Unstable Vehicles.

Collision caused by poor spatial awareness (SA). There is no other apparent cause for it & speed isn't a factor. SA varies considerably between individuals & when one is inexperienced in an activity - say driving - poor SA will be poorer still. Driving SUVs makes it worse still!
