nah that was obviously a cyclist in the car. if it were an SUV driver, they wouldn't have collided at all.

I assume nobody was badly hurt. And both cars are surprisnigly undamaged. But keep focused: any pedestrian or cyclist being close to this type of accidents could be crippled for life. SUV: Surprisingly Unstable Vehicles.

Collision caused by poor spatial awareness (SA). There is no other apparent cause for it & speed isn't a factor. SA varies considerably between individuals & when one is inexperienced in an activity - say driving - poor SA will be poorer still. Driving SUVs makes it worse still!
