Actor, writer and director Rob Reiner, known for his influential work both in front of and behind the camera, was found dead Sunday along with his wife, Michele, in what police described as an apparent homicide. In an Aug. 15, 2010 Sunday Morning profile, Reiner spoke with Russ Mitchell about how he often tells the same love story in his films, in which the woman is more emotionally mature and the man is “trying to catch up.” Reiner said that was reflected in his own life, crediting his wife with helping him grow up: “Basically, my wife made me a person.”

Hearing from my sources that #Fighter is being loved by the IAF. They gave a standing ovation at the Chief’s screening. Bollywood finally gets it right! I am told that Ramon Chibb - one of the producers is an ex-army officer & son of an Airforce officer AND it is his story and screenplay. Ramon Chibb kudos for raising the bar on how our forces need to be shown! #Fighter Kudos to Hrithik Roshan and director Siddharth Anand for giving credit where it is due! What a win for the industry – perfect mix of Bollywood and authentic IAF representation. My air force sources tell me the air action sequences are so real and now I learn that Ramon Chibb guided these. Kudos to all! Seeing this for the first time. No air force/army friend has anything negative to say! Ramon Chibb, ex-fauji and son of an IAF officer, is credited with story, screenplay, producer and 2nd unit director! "The Time We Found Escaping Virtual Identity To Adventure" A conceptual "Clone X Anime" teaser trailer, original sounds, and #MKPillCreatorChallenge submission by cam & ila orbis 🌸🌸🌸 Because my Clone has always been the subject of my digital identity experiments, I’ve constantly tried to give him a fictional narrative that paralleled this theme through the content I create with him. Fittingly, the story of experiment 1021 is that he is an autonomous agent trained on the memories of the Director of the research facility and trapped in a room simulation that manifests in the form of the interior of a Space Pod. A lot of the content I've created subtly hints at this story and this latest teaser trailer was an opportunity to continue to add visuals and narrative to the theme while experimenting with a new workflow using #animatediff and #comfyUI to turn #UE5 renders into old school anime style frames, something I tested for the first time two days ago. Being able to take my digital identity and use free tools to turn him into an anime main character is just something that I personally nerd out about so I hope you all enjoy the combination of visuals, sounds, and technology as much as I do. I just watched this video of a Nigerian sharing his review of a part in Femi Otedola’s book that he read. I love it as real Nigerians who have read the book are giving real reviews. After Femi Otedola published the book, he recruited influencers to create a fake and fictitious reality of the book to choke it down the throats of Nigerians. But as ordinary Nigerians bought and read it, they realized the book is a mere wealth fiction. As I had said, while we, as “ordinary Nigerians,” can pick a thing or two from the lives and experiences of personalities like Femi Otedola and Dangote, we can’t practically model our lives after them. Why? Our reality is entirely separate and contrasting to theirs. If you, as an ordinary Nigerian, need motivation, a drive, a source of wise mentorship, look for successful people who built from the standpoint of your reality - the people who had faced struggles typical or equal to yours but scaled through. But if you spend your penny to afford Femi’s book with a strong belief that it will give you real life guard to elevation, you would be confused and frustrated from the first line of chapter one. I will always associate Bullfrog Productions with innovation, daring to take risks, and trying unconventional ideas. That approach didn't just evolve later in their timeline of games but was pretty evident early on. Populous (1989) is widely recognized as the origin of God games. I remember having zero idea what to do when first playing it but being instantly hooked. Over time I figured it out, what the goal of the game was, how the mana bar worked, what effect the disasters had, how to raise or flatten land - I mean, think about how many other games before allowed you to cast an earthquake spell on your enemy, or to terraform the land around you, letting your hero cross the seas to wreak havoc on enemy peasants. Pure glorious mayham, fun, and a very novel concept. Obviously, the graphics look a bit dated now (though I love that pixel style), however the concept itself feels timeless. Populous is the game that first comes to mind when I see the Bullfrog logo, but it was not their only unique and ground-breaking game. One of the best developers of the 80s and 90s, truly missed if you ask me.
