If a business like this is so critical to the economy, shouldn't their tax return provide some indication of the health and viability as a lead indicator, before we a surprise like this which requires hundreds of millions of dollars of government (tax payer) intervention ?

About time SA could put politics to one side. Please do something to fix the accountability in the government. The misconduct of the government is routinely destroying South Australian lives, yet they are protected by the sheer incompetence of the systems designed to hold them accountable.
