Good call Minister @tanya_plibersek. Protecting what’s left of our precious species and habitat is so important. Looking forward to this decision becoming final. 👍🏽😄

So thrilled to hear these words. A vindication of 10 years of dedicated work by so many dedicated people to prevent what was always an obviously inappropriate proposal. Let's ensure our new nature laws ensure we don't have to go through this dispiriting, drawn-out process again.

Correct decision and thank you for taking the time to explain. We look forward to its confirmation.

Excellent decision Tanya Please stick to it through the process . We need to regain trust that deals are not being done and that posturing is not all we get Sorry but we had many years of #scottyfrommarketing

This is absolutely the right proposed decision, and a very good reason why red lines are needed in the new nature laws - to avoid developers wasting time on destructive and unacceptable proposals and ensure development takes place in low-impact areas instead.

Wish this decision had come earlier, should never have taken as long as it did and it shouldn't have taken so much advocacy to do what should have been done in the first place - protect the environment, especially a protected one which had profound impacts on many species.

Congratulations Minister! A good decision. I'm confident it's the right decision and, therefore, will also be the final decision.

Thanks for taking a step to unravel a piece of LNP corruption. If it wasn't for Frydenberg ignoring expert advice and waving it through it wouldn't have gone this far. Can you refer him to the NACC please?

"Business Visa 188 applicants are facing a 50-month wait instead of the promised 24. This delay is unfair, highlighting poor planning. We urge improvement in processing speed. #auspol #AustraliaImmigration #ClearThe188VisaBacklog"
