An update. So sad!

This is wicked beyond belief!! An elderly lady with dementia, is left in a shopping centres restaurant while her "carer" goes shopping? Luckily a mother with her children realised that the lady was left on her own, they decided to sit with this poor lady until her "carer" came back - 40 minutes later! Her excuse, "she isn't my mother" wow just wow. Say what you want about the traveller community but this is why they take care of our own 🙏

Thank you for bring the public aware. The authorities should do a proper investigation & replace her care over for abandoning the disabled senior.

This Young Lady is a very good Lady, our elderly are being left with some Uncivilised Savages, who I wouldn’t leave a Goldfish with, I doubt it very much if The Police will do anything about this situation as they are more concerned with being deemed Racist

The sad thing is there are so many elderly people who are abandoned by their family at old age homes with no one to advocate for them.

I completely understand how you feel. This is elderly abuse. Her family needs to be notified. She is unable to care for herself, she not be left alone, hence the hiring of a care giver. Yet, she left her alone. It’s the same as leaving a young child alone, which people would be livid about.

You can't think like that - that maybe you shouldn't have done it in case her life gets worse. If you hadn't done it, maybe she would have been wheeled away, used and disposed of. And until we ALL stand up to say this will NOT be permitted and there will be harsh penalties for those who leave defenceless persons in unsafe situations, nothing will change.

Well done - it’s a safeguarding issue!! I’m a professional carer- no way would we leave a vulnerable person on their own - this needs reporting to CQC and the carer/company she works for! Did you manage to obtain any info from her badge as to whom she was or worked for?
