Ah, anamorphosis! I often think of it while piloting this craft of mine. Inviting the viewer to occupy a specific vantage point? What's the point of even flying if you can't take in the grand view from wherever you may be?

Damn it. I hate these things, but love them as well. I hate my mind being messed with like this.

When I was in high school, they used to teach us how to draw 3D and isometric drawing using fixed angles, in a class called geometric drawing and perspective. That would have come in handy for drawing this on the paper! Nowadays it's all doable with 3D CAD programs.
