Now, "We don't have any space at the jail. There's really no communication. If somebody is booked in that's here illegally, they don't contact us. "We're out here on the street sitting and waiting with seven or eight officers just for one person. Today she Bonded 3 People Out of the Fulton County Jail for $85 Each There’s a Georgia law that allows you to bond three people out of jail per year, and today she used that opportunity to help three people who simply couldn’t afford to get out. These were nonviolent offenses, the kinds of minor charges where people often remain in jail not because they’re a danger, but because they’re poor. Think about this: It costs Fulton County taxpayers about $115 per day per inmate to keep someone in jail. Yet there are people sitting in jail on $50, $85, or other bonds under $100 simply because they don’t have the money. Does that make any sense? Not talking about people who are harming others or committing serious crimes. Talking about petty, nonviolent offenses, things like jaywalking, disorderly conduct, and other small charges. So today she did her part. She helped three people get out in 2026, just like she did in 2025. It’s a small step, but it’s one way to help while she and others work toward addressing the larger jail overpopulation crisis in Fulton County. She's just trying to do whatever she can.

Excessive force is not policing. A Perth Amboy detective was reportedly caught on body camera allegedly telling officers to “crack” people in the face and “smash” car windows during traffic stops. When excessive force is encouraged instead of prevented, it points to a much deeper problem. We need ACCOUNTABILITY, proper training, and a culture that protects people, not harms them.

Harris County Precinct 5 Constable Terry Allbritton's Office conducted a thorough investigation, which led to the arrest of 37-year-old Renee Amber Fennel. A second Union Flag has been raised outside of Essex County Council’s headquarters in Chelmsford, following control of the authority transferring to Reform UK after last week’s elections. The move brings Essex County Council in line with Reform UK national policy, which only permits the Union, national, county or armed forces flags to fly at council buildings under its control. “Today we have raised a second Union Flag at County Hall in Chelmsford. It was a proud moment to see it flying high, representing all of the nations that make up our wonderful United Kingdom.” Cllr Peter Harris, Leader of the Council’s Reform UK group and County Council Leader Elect. No two traffic stops are ever the same. What started as a seatbelt stop quickly turned into something more. Officer Morgan Smith and Officer Karim Saoud were out reminding drivers to wear their seatbelts and stopped one driver who wasn’t wearing his. When our officers asked for his information, he gave them what turned out to be a fake name. When you don’t have a phone or wallet and can’t remember your social security number, that raises some red flags with our officers. Officer Smith and Officer Saoud quickly figured out that the suspect had a warrant out for his arrest from Bradford County. This traffic stop ended in a trip for our suspect to the Duval County jail.
